I'm not excited at all. Do Jews find those places Holy? I've heard people claim how they felt the spirit of Jesus there. Lol
It is only in the head of those Christians who worship Israel just because Jesus lived there and was Jew.

I never have. I never felt safe when others would go. It's really not about where he was born to me... but the message. although... maybe change my mind when there.
I honestly have issue with watching so many murdered... or is it killed... having a hard time differentiating. They look like people from Biblical times. So many children... when Jesus said not to hurt any of them.
...
I did go to where Paul... the Apostle wrote so many lettesr of the Bible and was killed. that was good to see, how small and dark it was.
People traveled from all over the world for hundreds of years to visit holy sites in Palestine. Those places were preserved and respected.
That changed when the illegitimate state of Israel was founded. It gradually drove off the indigenous people. It despises Jesus and does not respect Christianity or Islam.
I would have been interested in seeing those sites when it was multicultural Palestine. But I wouldn't set one foot in Israel. It is not the same. It is no longer the bucolic Palestine with the unchanged holy and historical places. I wouldn't feel safe among the Zionist pigs. And I wouldn't want to let Israel profit from one dime of my money.
Israel is a pariah.
Obviously you aren't a Christian believer in Jesus Christ and my guess is that you don't believe in God either.
But if you were a believer in Jesus Christ you would have the holy Spirit inside of you so you would be able to sense things there that unbelievers cannot sense because they don't have the holy Spirit in them.
Yes I would. Most of the bible takes place there. The river Jordan, nazareth, bethlehem, Jerusalem, sea of gailee. Maybe meet a Samaritian.

1, i wish (but not now) to go Because these were places holy jesus went and influenced.
2 , jews dont.
3 your "equation" is false. Some love israel but don't worship israel. Not "only if worship israel". But many Christians love the place israel n people of israel too.
@strateguy632 it be a a path of destruction churches not being sacred all over the country burnt down
I have been to some of them, and I would love to go back to see the others. It truly is Holy.
It was not because the Jewish people currently have possession of that part of the world. I think it would be better if everyone was Catholic, but I can't make that happen. Regardless, I was there for Christ
Jesus lived there. If we look for Jesus in those places it means we think he is dead. But he is a living God and he is everywhere
You can't deny there is a certain mysticism in visiting places that were historically important. As long as what has been described in the three holy books - Torah, Bible and Quran - are an accurate description of what happened roughly one, two or three thousand years ago. Nor is it correct to portray Jesus as a white man. He would almost certainly have taken on the looks of the local people, unless he was of a different descent and his parents immigrants.
No but was thinking before to take my mom to those places as she's a devout Christian. And she doesn't worship Jews or Israel, nor does she really care for it, just Jesus.
How many people were killed by "Christians" over the years for not being "Christian"? Christians were not very Christ-like at all for most of history and modern Christians and Catholics conveniently forget about that. Christians are just in another dumb cult worshipping a man, like Muslims.
I went to Israel for the cultural experience, the weather and the beach. All things Jesus related just came on top of that.
Allegedly, Jesus was speaking Aramaic, not Hebrew language.
It's possible that he was not an ethnic Jew, maybe he was Aramaic.
Religion and ethnicity are not the same.
I didn't think of it. Thanks
You're welcome.
The Jews don't consider him the Messiah so how can they worship him when they think he was just a teacher? He wasn't even in the Teacher's Union.
I gave no interest in going anywhere near the middle east
Been to Israel and Palestine, both good trips.
I am pretty sure Jesus is not just for Israelites but the whole world. So, I would love to go see the places where Son of God touched the earth
I would avoid the Middle East entirely until Israel and it's neighbors quit bombing each other.
I agree to 236!
My wife and I had plans to visit Israel, and other places in the MidEast, and then Hamas decided to attack Israel. We canceled those plans.
Any where in the middle east is one of the last places I would want to travel to
I've been there.
Christians were not very good to the Jews over the millennia. so I've always found it ironic that, Jesus, the quintessential centerpiece of Christianity, was a Jew.
yep. sure would. It's only meaningful to those who find meaning in it. If you don't care, then you won't care but if you do, then you would find something special about being in those places.
The life of Jesus is important to any Christian. Not so much to Jews.
i was in israel before. i've seen jerusalem and some of the other things mentioned in the bible. i think it's interesting even tho i'm an atheist.
You really need to stay away from religion. "Christians who worship Israel"?
Yes. They called it a Holy land..
Jerusalem is "Holy Land" to many different religions. Wtf does that have to do with "Christians who worship Israel"? If anything, some fundamentalist Christians believe that Israel should start a "final conflict" because it will bring about the Apocalypse and the return of their Messiah. That's not worshipping Israel.
Never heard that but I was referring to some Christians. Like this one

Do you know who that is? In my country, Charlie Kirk is considered a right-wing extremist and nobody of worth gives a shit what he says.
He has many fans. Of course you hate him. You're a leftist lol
He's a liar. He thinks he knows Biblical texts but is easily rebutted by scholars. I don't give a shit how many "fans" he has, they're just as dump as Trump supporters. As for being a "leftist", I'm glad of it. It's so EASY to be a Conservative -- you don't have to think, you just acquiesce and keep doing whatever BS has been done in the past.
If it weren't for liberal thinkers dear, you'd still be living in a freaking cave. Oh, here's an lol for your conservatism.
I am morally conservative by the way.
And you know the Bible better than him? Lol
Modern liberal thinkers are cancer.
Did I say that I did? No. Here's what I do know:
* I KNOW that the Bible is NOT univocal. You might think it is, but it's not.
* I know that the Bible can be used to validate ANY position you want
* I know that translations of Biblical manuscripts can vary greatly, depending on who edits them
* I know that manuscripts are found in several different languages, and have been translated from one to other at times, causing even more variance in translation
* I know that not everything in the Bible is believed to be "authentic", according to scholars who study that as they're life's work.
Yes, there is extensive belief that many things in the Bible have been added by unknown authors.
What do YOU know? If you want to learn something about the Bible, go look up Dan McClellan and educate yourself. He's a lifelong scholar interested in facts, not a hack like Charlie Kirk, or you, or me.
typos: "one to another", and "their life's work"
And to clarify, there's evidence, according to these scholars, that many well-know stories were added to books, and that other books were removed from the widely circulated versions of the Bible.
I don't know who Dan McClellan is but I can guess he claims the Bible supports abortion or at least doesn't oppose it lol. He might interpret the Bible in the way that doesn't contradict your moral views
If you don't know WHO he is, or have ever heard what he has to say, then you have no basis to comment. He's a scholar, and he can read the languages most of the Bible manuscripts come from. He personally doesn't "support" positions, he supports factual information.
Your comment is EXACTLY what point was about; that the Bible has NO univocality about anything, including abortion. YOU personally will find ways to use it to support YOUR position that it speaks against it. Mr. McClellan, for example, will point out that the Hebrew definition in the Old Testament referred to life beginning at "breath", and he'll show you where it is. That doesn't mean it's his position, he's giving you translation. YOU will disregard that and go find some other translation that supports your view. That's what people do with the Bible.
Again, since you are clueless about what he does, go educate yourself before you accuse others of enlisting supporters for their position, and laughing about it. You laugh about things you don't understand or EVEN have knowledge about. As I said earlier, I believe this is an area you should leave alone for these very reasons.
Lol pro choice cuck knows I guessed it right
If he was pro life you would say he speaks BS
I mean, not with the current situation, but if things calmed down again, sure
Who do I care about jesus? I'd rather not visit war zones
