How did you come to fully trust God?

I’ve been saved for 18 years and am still trying to figure out how to trust someone so powerful that He can think, no speaking, a planet into existence. How can someone trust someone with such power? I wish I could ask all of the great figures of the Bible how they did it.

Your question has some logic gaps.

"No speaking" so if god did speak, do you mean that is believable to "speaking, a planet into existence." If so can trust bible that god did speak. Maybe nine times.

If you were describing power, then power or more power doesn't cause less trust?

Do you trust me who lifts only 40 pounds... but not trust my stronger pal who lifts 150 pounds?

2, how they did it? The prophets believed "simply" abraham saw a vision to kill his son, he was sure that was the message... simply. Luckily for his son, isac, the angel saved isac.

Jesus taught believed "like a child" meaning the way toddlers believed parents, without suspicion, about tooth fairy and santa claus.

20 years. of growing in my faith. Faith is one of the hardest thing to have for some people. And you can't think of it as a constant. I mean I have faith Jesus died for my sins. But that doesn't mean that my isn't still being put to the test. And this is a good thing believe it or not. Because when you come out the other side of it your faith is stronger.

The best advice I can give is ask questions to God. God doesn't want you following him blindly. But he does want you to trust him. Do I know the mind of God? Of course not! But after 20 years. I trust that I don't need to understand everything. Because I trust God's word is good.

I left the christian church when I was 16. I don’t trust the god they say he is if their actions are in complete opposition to those values.
Obviously this damaged my relationship to spirituality as a whole for a long time. I’m starting to rebuild it now, and truly understand what God is and how it’s not a he, or a she, or even a they, but present in a way that makes my life better.
