What do you think of the bible saying there is nothing you can do to boost your reputation outside of merit and chance?

I know pastors who tried to boost their reputation by rejecting poor and disabled people as friends and they and up with hideous furrow brows on their face and a very short height that makes them less attractive than inclusive people who are tall and good looking.

I know liars who try to boost their reputation by exercising and they develop metabolic issues that make them morbidly obese.

I know people who try to boost their reputation by making fun of others and they get brain damage and end up mentally challenged.

The bible says God and nature determine your reputation. Nothing you do can raise it. If you try to hide your crimes with lies, God will rob your assets so your attraction boosts are equal to what you had before you decided to show off and fake your personality.
