1, Cremation is a solution to inefficient use of land burying corpses.

On the coast people can "bury at sea" in a beneficial way to feed the fish, but away from the coast, can't so instead of insult corpse as worm food or in mud! Better to burn it... after it is really dead so no pain.

2, respect? As if feeding it to worms is respect?

Burying it is abuse as well as inefficient use of land unless it is a vast desert in saudi arabia.

3 burning is not abuse so if they ask for bury disobey by burn.

However, anything Islam says is dubious because the Islamic radicals who crashed planes into towers on 9/11 would have been incinerated. If one has chosen to be cremated, it's not disrespectful; however, it is disrespectful to not follow someone else's wishes if they choose not to be cremated.

Islam says a bunch of other crazy stuff, I don’t know why they’d have an opinion on cremation. Even if they did frown on it, so what? Koran was written hundreds of years ago, so they might be wrong about a few things.
Cremation is quick, easy, sanitary, and an economical choice as well. What’s the alternative? Good lord, being put in a box, or worse yet, just into the ground to what? —rot away? How disgusting. I can’t think of anything more horrific…

In cremation (a very old practice), everything is done within an hour, and after 24 hours we collect the ashes and pour them into a river, the river gets nutrients and there is no chance of spreading diseases. You will move on with life and emotions will not be stuck for long.

No floods will bring back rotten corpses to the surface and no dogs will dig up corpses to eat. There will be no corpses on top of corpses in one place and if someone wants an unused piece of land for burial, he will not have to pay a huge amount, will not have to worry about taking permission before burial, will not be denied to bury their dead, will not have to worry about carrying the dead body to a long distance to the burial ground of his sect.
But these problems are more common in highly populated poor areas.

and yes, cremation is cheap and you can feed animals (traditionally cows, birds= mainly crows, dogs) and other important animals like vultures or elephants) and poor people in remembrance of your dead ones at the time of cremation or later

When we die and we leave our bodies it's just the corpse I would rather have it cremated.

Then to be taken to a cemetery in the stacked on top of another body on top of another body on top of another body I mean if you ever pay attention to cemeteries there's people dying all the time and there's no way in this world that there's that much room for all the people that have died.
