Why would my ex get so angry about my opinion in Catholicism?

When I went to visit Forth wort and the towns Catholic Church surprise I saw my ex from highschool. I was at the church office apperantly my ex boyfriend Jestin Jessy is a marriage counselor surprisingly he was a womanizer back in his younger years, I know so hypocritical of Jessy. I unfortunately came across Jessy typical strawberry blonde blue eye nerdy looking guy with glasses short hair. He ask me well what a surprise , How did you ended up here. I told Jessy straight up I was doing story about the abuse that went on this Church 18 years ago how people should changed religion live Catholicism forget about the existence. I am not sure why my ex Jessy would get so upset about this told me it is a very personal sensitive topic to just forget let be people. Later Jessy went on his words. He told me in his own words why don't you just do me and the rest of the church staff a big favor. Get yourself an online ticket and live us alone. I was shocked. It's weird to so Jessy married with kids, his wife isn't that pretty.

I wasted years believing Catholicism was truth after my own research I came to find out it's all a tactic just to manipulate people. Catholic leaders never actually care about it's members. I wasn't attacking I was only expressing my freedom of speech.

My wife is a Catholic. Back before the abuse scandal hit the papers I heard stories from cops that would tell me that they would have to go to the church and lay down the law to some priest that was diddling little kids. You cannot arrest a priest because you will go to hell but the cops used to try to reason with them and hope they would get the message.

My wife used to get upset with me for telling her these stories. She did not believe me. I heard these stories from a few cops from different towns. Fast forward a couple of years and the story broke in all the papers. It turns out I was right. My wife does not go to church anymore.

I am angry about this because the church was an important part of her life and these pervert priests and the gutless Cardinal that just transferred them someplace else ruined it for her.

That horrible your wife should had believed you. Same here a lot of cops friends in town told me the same stories. It's everywhere people are dumb if they choose not to believe it. Sadly Catholic fanatic still single their kids into Catholic schools. I stay away at all cost. The Catholic Church did nothing to protect this children. Justice must be done, Its a good thing it's announced on the news that way people can wake up and get out of that evil organization. I am glad your wife decided to open her eyes. My kids were supposed to go on a field trip with the church. We had to pay for it up front. I forget why but for some reason they were not able to go. I wanted to see if i could get the money refunded. We were pretty poor at the time. The priest told me to meet him in the rectory. So I go there before work one morning and we go into his office. He opens a desk drawer and it was loaded with cash. The priest just reached in and came up with a fist full of money and counted out the right amount for me an threw the rest of it back in the desk. .
It looked like he just took the money from the collection plates and dumped it into the drawer like a giant slush fund. I was horrified.

I'm not religious but... people are entitled to follow, believe in and enjoy what faith they want. It's unfair to criticise that based on individuals who's behaviour is evil or bad just because they too claimed to be a part of the same religion. Hate on the people not the faith! Unless it's actually written in their bibles, Koreans, scriptures or whatever to do harm and evil things.

Also like.. you criticise Jessy for having womaniser ways but "weird" now he's religious/behaved? But that's life. People can grow up and change.

Yes abuse went on in the Catholic Church but steps were taken and most cases are historical abuse from 30 years ago. Unfortunately the Jehovah Witness Church is full of abuse

In the past there was abuse but in the Jehovah witness church there is massive continuing abuse happening right now.
Jehovah's Witnesses have only one annual ritual. On the anniversary of Jesus death they gather together to openly reject the body and blood of Christ. Leading up to this event they take part in a campaign to get as many non-Jehovah's Witnesses to do this with them. Very satanic

Stop mocking my religion! If you actually took the time to study with a sister from the Kingdom Hall you would understand. I started to investigate when I was 16 and converted at age 17 . Saint Peter was a saint, apostle, first leader and Martyr of the church crucified in Rome. Are you saying these people were not real are you saying the first Christians and evangelists that risked everything preaching in the Roman empire, middle east, Africa and Northern Europe didn't exist?
Are you saying that Jehovah (latin for Yahwah the true name of God) Witnesses don't believe St Paul exists? 13 books of the gospel are St Paul's but you say he doesn't exist and nor do his books so Jehovah witnesses are not Christians
