Why is my ex angry with ME when he decided to end things?

I was totally shocked when my boyfriend ended things, we were getting on really well and then suddenly he broke up with me giving no reason just that he thought we were not "right"?! When I tried to discuss it he blanked me and continue to ignore me for the past month. I was totally heartbroken. The weird thing is, I bumped into him yesterday at a party and we chatted for 10 minutes but he was really angry with me?! My friend thinks its because he has feelings but come on! He ended things with me?! I still care but am totally confused, why is he acting this way?

My ex did similar things to me, I know its hard to let it not get to you.

I never reacted, confronted or explained myself to her or anyone else. I acted as if nothing had happened and try to avoid her when possible.

I was confused because I used to think did I really deserve it? Or does she believe all the stuff she said about me? Try to justify her actions by telling myself that maybe she's feeling guilty or have some feelings towards me. (She has never treated her ex before me like this as well.)

In the end I find the best cure is still just not to care or be part of that world anymore because it's over and this is the quickest way of getting over it all.

Poor you. Sounds as if he's trying to make you look like the bad person here in order to gain some sympathy from his mates and shift the blame off himself for breaking up with you. He's probably thinking if I have a go at her, she might have a crack back in front of my mates and she'll look like a total bitch and I'll look all innocent. Trust me one of my exes was like this, he was the one that broke up with me, and just like you had done nothing wrong..For this he tried every trick in the book to make me look bad because I was still friendly with a lot of his friends.

Luckily most people will see through it, he's just being immature and narcisstic.

Because he is a jerk! He dumped you because he clearly felt you were not measuring up somehow, he realized he made a mistake, and now everything is still your fault! If I were you, I would spend about 20 more seconds of my time on this guy--by laughing--and then I would forget about him and find someone who wants to be with you. You can do better than this guy!

Obviously there is more going on here even if it is something that you already know about or not. For him to change overnight lyk that doesn't just happen. There could be so many reasons for his behavior but how can we tell you which one it may be? Has been acting strange before the break up, dissappearing...anything?

He has huge commitment issues in general but he seems to stay on friendly terms etc with his other ex's but with me its just anger, avoidance etc. and I didn't see it coming. One night we were making future plans the next...he was gone!

If he has commitment issues then maybe that's why he ran. But if he is seemingly agry with you then there's more to it, did it take a long time for him to get to be friends with the other ex's? It will come out sooner or later, a little patience required. BUT by any means, I am not saying sit around waiting, because bottom line he is clearly wrong in how he has handled all of this. You deserve better to be honest! Good Luck!
