Religion is the personal thing. And it should be personal only. What we want to believe what gives us happy religion should be like that. Religion should not be rigid. Situation changes with time. So nothing rigid can be followed through in changed situation. And if religion isn't that adaptive to change means it's a rigid cult.

Now feminism is the demand of current situation current world so it should be. If your religion isn't giving you that freedom then why to follow that so strictly? Religion is the path to god and if we are not happy with ourselves can we ever travel on that path will our willingness? Isn't that is like something is forcing us to be that way and we have to have follow through. Why can't we choose to follow the god as we want to follow it and similarly staying happy in our lives too. As long as we are not doing anything wrong to anyone I feel there is no problem in living a moral life. As well as we can still have faith on god and could be believing on them.

All feminism is, is a desire for equality between men and women. It won't mess with your religious beliefs, even if you become a tradcon house wife, unless you're expected to be lesser.

If you want to be a real feminist that won't be hard at all. Just advocate for yourself and your needs, stand up for yourself and make your own decisions create your own life and learn to be independent and take care of yourself while continuing to practice your faith. Basically, advocate for your rights as a woman respectfully and with kindness while standing your ground on your own principles and rights.

Find a middle ground between your faith and feminism and you'll likely do well. Most people who claim they're feminists though are actually just sexists so if you're going with the modern concept of feminism of "All men suck and are predators and we don't need them" then in that case don't be a feminist and ignore everything I just said.

I believe there is a segment somewhere stating that when men and women are truly equal, judgement day will be here.

Its a funny one but here is the angle, judgement is not bad. Good people should desire it. So in that way, abrahamistic beliefs actually predict and suggest we strive for complete equality.

Logic arguments aside? Everyone is cherry-picking which parts of religion they believe in. Are you actively refusing banking, stocks and rentals? Jesus considers those worse than prostitution.

If you are okay with banking, which abrahmisric religion is not, you can close an eye to the woman's role bits too. They are far less condemned. Honestly we all live in extreme sin according to the bible.

I think all you can do is to filter your childhood teachings through your adult values and beliefs. Keep what makes sense to you. Modify things that it makes sense to modify according to your own personal understanding and conscience.

Discard the rest as childhood parables and no-longer-relevant teachings. It's gotta be up to you personally.

Nobody else has your unique mix of religious beliefs from childhood and your current beliefs now.

You need to consult your own conscience about what to keep and what not to. This is something personal. To you. There is no right answer other than what seems right to you.

If you study the context of the time and the people the letters were written to you'd find Christianity is the most liberating religion for women.

Women had no legal standing in courts as reliable witnesses, yet the Risen Christ was first witnessed about by women. Peter and John ran to the tomb because they were desperate to see Jesus. They believed them.

Romans - in context - is more freeing than any feminist handbook.

The letter where Paul says he doesn't let women hold authority in the church over men was written to a specific society that bordered on misandry and the women of that city weren't educated in what the messianic message was. He told a LOT of people to shut up, not just women.

Maybe you should think a little better about wanting to be a feminist...

Both men and also some woman aren't exactly happy with feminists because they are partly responsible that men and woman are growing apart in society. We should unite to be able to have a family because men and woman are like ying and yang. Together they are the perfect unity and

If you wanne work like a slave for the rest of your life then go for it. I guarantee you the majority of real die hard feminists will destroy their own happiness in the future once they hit their 30's and then they realise they can't find a good husband anymore because good husband's aren't looking for a career persuing woman.

Without trying to be disrespectful to feminists... In my opinion feminist aren't the smartest people that walk around on earth. But I pretty sure there will be a day they realise that they made a poor decision once they end up sad and lonely

Balancing feminism and religious upbringing can involve understanding both perspectives and finding common ground. Some find it possible to be both a feminist and religiously observant, while others may find that their religious beliefs clash with feminist ideals. Ultimately, it's about finding what aligns with your own values and beliefs.

I find it amusing how the woke left thinks they have the monopoly on feminism. Any time they spew their anti-Christian venom, they're almost always citing the Old Testament. However, in the New Testament, Jesus unequivocally preached equality.

By practicing your stretching, so you can fist yourself from the front and get your other hand up your backside.

If you can't do it, then you know you're being daft and need to put your time and resources to better pursuits.

If you can do it, then you should feel ashamed for being so easily lead to waste your time and resources and need to educate yourself better.

Such it is with your poor "upbringing" that has lead you up this worthless path.

Religion is a form of manipulation of behaviour for a political goal that's formed around morality principles of the individual. Feminism is a political movement around the promotion of women's opportunities and access to power.

Give up feminism, unless it is limited to the first and/or second wave. Third wave feminism and beyond are destructive to people and society.
