Does this Ben Sira verse agree with what Jesus said?

Ben Sira says not to repeat the words of your prayer in public and Jesus said if you pray in public for honour and attention, God will not grant you a reward for your prayers, your fasts, or your good deeds. This is different from joint prayer done in a team for a united purpose, because the bible encourages believers to gather together in loving communities where they mutually help and encourage each other in their religious practice, and there are times where group prayer is recommended or superior to individual prayer, but the bible says if you pray for social status reasons and not because you believe in your cause, you will not be rewarded for the prayers you offer God.

Yes I believe what Ben Sira said is very close to what Jesus says in His Word. I can’t remember off hand the exact scriptures that Jesus says but I absolutely know it’s there.
One scripture I can recall right now is when Jesus said “ Where two or more are gathered in My Name I am with you and hear your prayers.” Something like this …

This has always been known to be the case. Another example is in the bible the man praying arrogantly "I'm grateful that im not as bad as these other people".
