Do you think people for example in Philippines and the middle east, who "joined" a religion due to threats count as "believe"?

A guy came to my church and told his story. His parents in 1940s were threatened by philipine government, if they did not convert to catholic, no business permit. Now we know why 90% of philipines is catholic but... do those people who say they believe , due to various physical threats, in various religions , really count?

(About hell , "choosing the wrong faith" removed that factor as i explained last year in a mytake.)
