I see no reason why God X should be any more credible than God Y or Z. I'd reference the flying spaghetti monster but honestly, what if God is real but you believe in the wrong one? Either way until a shred of verifiable evidence happens, I struggle to put any degree of trust in it.

What makes you think there is more than one God? Maybe we all worship the same God just in different ways.

Sure. Vishnu, Elohim and Ahura Mazda might all be the same. Pretty different rules abd worship.

Also very strange how in some instances we have literal records of who created things, like the Byzantines and the bible. But yes, I don't mind the idea that some cosmic force wants belief and cares not for the rest.

Although it seems more likely that us humans like easy answers.

There are many people who don't believe God is real. Why should we? There's no evidence, just questions like "where do you think this all came from?" But that's just the God of the Gaps. Even if there is a God, there's absolutely no evidence for any of the currently popular nonsense like Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism.
