As I've written beneath the image, it depends. Depends on your definition and understanding of the term "God". That's what I would tell people who on the rare occasion would ask. I don't believe in the anthropomorphic "god" that is more of a distraction than anything else, the kind of god that atheists like to make fun of online (because they apparently believe theists are all simple-minded and actually believe their caricature). If God is real, then it is so far above and beyond what we can possibly understand, that we have no hope of ever finding out anything at all about "Him". In that sense I'm a bit of a fideist, which means that the concept really has to be accepted on faith alone. Either you can make that effort and accept God, or you can't.
God is real if you have the right definition.
- However this is mineGod - From which everything springs and is
God is energy and it springs matter and it is matter
- And we know energy and matter are interchangeableThere is nothing made that is not God.
Everything is made in the image of God.
- "Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light (consciousness) of men.…"God is amoral and impersonal (Energy and Nature and Universe)
God works solely through natural lawHow Prayer works: Prayers are only answer once you believe you already have what it is you are praying for. It must also be within the bounds of the law because God only works through law.
Having something does not mean the outside idea of it; that is just an effect. Prayer works through consciousness. You must have it in heaven first. You receive nothing unless you have it in heaven first.(John 3:27) You must have the consciousness that naturally attracts it on the outside. If you want to be a doctor you don't just sit and believe you're a doctor or ask god to make you a doctor. That's not prayer. You have to have the consciousness/vibration that causes it. No kid, that became a doctor, ever said "I am not going to college but I'll be a doctor don't worry." Belief is nothing but neurons connecting together. We all know those old African proverbs "Pray and move your feet". Pray is the consciousness and move your feet is action. "Faith without works is dead" Faith manifest into action and action manifest into results. Faith is operating from the consciousness that creates the results you want. Faith is not asking/believing you are a doctor. That is an effect. Believe you have the consciousness you desire and operate from that consciousness you desire.-- "The kingdom of heaven is in your midst"
"The kingdom of heaven is within you" The psychology part of you. Not the spiritual or the physical.
---
I'll give an example:
People date wrong. The look for people instead of relationships. What they want is a relationship. Work from the end. The type of relationship you will have is based on the consciousness of the 2 people in the relationship. There are people you may like but they will never help you create the relationship you actually want and nor do they want to.
You write out the relationship you want. Leave out anything that is not non-negotiable. You wanna go with the numbers as much as you can. Ask yourself what kind of people naturally create that type of relationship. From that point on you know who u have to be and who your other has to be. You go find someone who wants the same thing as you. Then you both think and act like the people you need to be until it becomes natural and habit. Naturally you will have the relationship you want because you and him/her are producing it from consciousness.
That brief, shallow example was through the Law of cause and effect, the Law of attraction, the Law of gestation, and probably more.
With all this said I believe the Bible is talking almost exclusively about psychology laws. But if you are perceiving it to be talking about the physical world... That's the problem. In the psychology world the Imagination is God because all comes from it. @coconut94 basically said the same thing.
With all this said, we still may find in death that there is something even beyond energy. However, this is all we know for now.

Depends on the definition... that is why I am a doubter. If it's different between even the believers, it makes it even less convincing.
So how do you "know" that the god you're describing has those particular properties? You're making claims like
"If God is real, then it is so far above and beyond what we can possibly understand, that we have no hope of ever finding out anything at all about "Him"
How do you know that? How do you know that if there were a god that they might be perfectly knowable and understandable?
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"
Clark's third law.
It seems to me like the version of God you believe in is actually exactly the same as the one everyone else believes in.
Which is to say, a god that just so happens to align with your ideals and ideas about what a god is and what properties that God has. You're belief is not based on faith as you claim. It's based on wishful thinking. You like the idea of God being a certain way and so that's the way you choose to believe he exists
Which IS what atheists make fun of because that central idea is common to literally EVERY theist. There is nothing unique or special about believing In a god that ticks all your favorite boxes.
The simple truth is that there are ultimately two definitions of God. Either he is so far o outside the realm of reality that the concept itself is impossible by definition. Which means god is provably not real. Or "god" is just another word for an advanced being. Like a human. Which makes God's provably real because, we are them.
No one knows, and no one can ever know. There's no evidence that God is real, no evidence for an afterlife, no evidence that prayer or any other religious practice is useful.

I won’t deny that there is a divinity one can find in their own ways. The main issue is dogma, I’ve found. While there are absolutely reasons to encourage and rejoice in special ritualistic systems that help one grow accustomed to their worship and their faith, asking questions can be seen as a challenge when it shouldn’t be. When people take on faith like that, at least in those domineering christian circles, they add it to their identity and will hear nothing questioning their god or faith even when they’re legitimately valid questions about the system in which they live their lives. And when they take on that attack, they then go on the defensive, rejecting the questions outright and driving away people who would seek a different understanding as such a change can cause someone to either leave that system or denounce it. I’m not going to say these systems are all bad but when they become so rigid that you can’t allow yourself to change then there’s really no room to make your life better as you explore the existence of the divine.
I don’t know that I personally believe in a divine presence that interacts with us, I would be more inclined to believe that if there is a god that it would be far busier with everything else happening in the universe than our little blue planet. It’s easier to find divinity in one another, in the small acts of heart and compassion that can change one’s entire day. We all carry the potential of that unique divinity within us and within the connections we make with others, and truthfully regardless of the god you worship that can always be something one could see as a powerful miracle in its own right.
Or maybe I’m just spouting spiritual 🐂💩 who knows? LolWhatever “creator” is out there. Must be female. Only “females” can bring forth life.
The only proof of a deity or “Goddess” is nature itself.
Vibrations, or frequency can be a small example of such a being. This is the only proof. It shows up in fruits or certain animals.
ITS VIBRATION OR A GEOMETRY WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND.
It also shows up on leaves, lightning and snowflakes. ❄️
All these examples show us some form of electromagnetic creator, on a different spectrum or dimension we cannot understand. But such creator is NOT MALE.
Which god are you talking about? Anthropologists state that Over 18000 gods have been worshipped since we existed on this rock with over 4000 recognised religions. I’ve spent most of my life agnostic choosing to see myself more recently as atheist and largely view religion as a form of political and social control but I respect everyone’s decision to have faith and follow any deity they please , peacefully. Where I get a little jaded over religion and the worship of a god especially in the west is the relationship between “god” and Money 💰 from what I understand a thread is that it’s the root of evil and should be stewarded and regarded as merely a tool but in todays world well that’s pretty far from truth.
This reminds me of George Carlin :-
Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! If your confused maybe it's religion you're confused about but you believe in a god yes? So you're spiritual and don't believe any of the propaganda churches and religions feed these buffoons? Is that right to say about your circumstance? Well you don't have to be in a religion to believe in a god. I personally don't believe in a god. Not because I think it is necessarily impossible but because it doesn't matter to me, if there is a god I have a mind of my own to make my own morale decisions good or bad I don't need a book or people to tell what's right and what's not. It should be fairly obvious to you by how your actions affect others. Whether there is an afterlife or not should not determine how I make my choices. Choices should always be genuine and not feel as if you're going to burn in hell or whatever afterlife you may believe in, then you're making choices out of fear are you not? So whatever floats your boat if you're really confused then why even worry about it? Because you fear punishment in the afterlife? Just be genuine, whatever happens when you die happens. at least you made the choices you made from your own will, so why even be bothered with the question of whether or not a God exists? Will it help you be a better person? Then you probably believe in a god for the wrong reasons.
If there was a god, it wouldn't have human traits like being subject to anger and punishing people. I don't think there is a god but the bible's one is very human and far away from perfection.
Christianity exceeds in hypocrisy when forgiving too much, which is anti-human and it results in the opposite behavior (e. g. christians exterminating the native Americans). Islam is too tough and judaism is pure evil, their god is more similar to a devil who wants to kill and rob humans. Having a sense of property is the first tenant of civilization.
In case god exists it's surely not an entity with desires and needs like religious leaders describe god. Those leader created religions and perception of god for their own egoistic needs.
Ancient Egyptians worshiped sun, we know sun is a gigantic plasma ball, it doesn't have any needs or desire to be worshiped. However priest in ancient Egypt exploited this belief to ensure their power and status inside society. Did much change in last 4 thousand years? I our star so special among other stars?Well... as you pointed out, god gets defined and perceived many different ways.
Is there a singular divine entity? Humanity has had many gods over the years. I don't think I have enough information to set much stock in the belief that I've gotten the right one. Who can say?
As for the idea that there is a deeper energetic subconscious connection between living things and the universe around them? I have no doubts about that. That seems as clear to me as the hair on my arm. That all beings are connected and that we all must live with the intention to be connected with others. There aren't many things that I'm less confused about than that.
Anyone who declares God is not real needs to have a real good, solid, explanation of how life comes to be. Where did all of this matter and order that makes of the Earth, the solar system, all the living creatures, the stars, planets, galaxies and universe.
It all exists. Where did it all come from? How did all of the matter and infinite stars and lifeforms come from? How did matter become alive and have life?
If their take is I don't know how all of this came to be but I know it wasn't made by God then I don't pay them much mind. Their answer is just emotional. They don't want there to be a God.
It took you a while to get there, but you got there.
It really doesn’t matter if there is a god or if there isn’t. The entire ideology is about faith.
Atheists are walking, talking irony because they practice as much blind faith as the average religious zealot; possibly more. Atheists challenging the openly faithful is just the latest holy war. “You must be destroyed because your nonsense is different from my nonsense!” Ell oh ell!
I highly doubt there’s a legit atheist whose IQ is over 90. If there is, they’ll almost certainly agree that their belief that there is no god bears no more or less merit than the belief that there is one or more gods. It’s all about faith. It is something I don’t really care about, do I think about it, yes but not really worried either way. I tend to sit in the does not exist camp, that the universe and its galaxies just are, then you think about how little we know about the universe, how little we know about science, from Sir Isaac Newton to the present day is nothing in human development. Could there be some far higher developed ‘beings’ with the ability to influence the development of planets and life, I don’t know, if there was, then they would to us hold godlike powers, until of course we develop that far (assuming we don’t obliterate ourselves and our world first).
You told a tard to not bring politics into it, but he couldn't help himself. lol
You either believe in a big bang theory, or you believe in some type of God. It's up to you.
I had a cute skunk that visited me. I named her Maxine. I gave her an ice cream sandwich. The next day I had 10 skunks come to visit me. They obviously talk to each other. How else would they know I was giving out ice cream sandwiches? People who claim there is or isn't a God, are idiots. I told a depressed guy on this site to go to the forest and sit on a log. Try and take it all in. It's impossible to observe nature and not realize how insignificant you are.
A few times I've been asked if I accept the possibility of a "higher power", and my response has usually been "Yeah, maybe. I dunno."
I don't know enough about the universe to rule out the possibility of there being something before/outside/greater than it, but I don't think it's appropriate to call it God unless it's... you know... actually God. If somebody doesn't agree with that or doesn't understand, I just specify what I mean and move on. I'm really not interested in splitting hairs over definitions.
How can anyone really see the proof of God's existence without reading the word of God? The ones that claim to see the truth only read the bible through thier flawed preachers eyes instead of reading what it actually says.
The Bible says that some people have eyes to see and ears to hear with and that some don't. It's for the same reason why people smoke, drink with warnings everywhere and still can't see the truth.
I've seen so much proof of God's existence, it's flowing out of my ears, BUT if you don't have eyes to see with and ears to hear, you won't except it and won't look at it.
Rules and laws are good examples, killing and stealing being bad are opinions because there are people out there that do it like it's nothing at all. To them you are crazy, how do you debate it without God? If everyone everywhere was correct about everything, there would be no war and no death from it.Look sorry I bypassed you description. I just saw your picture. In my opinion and experience... I grew up in a very religious family. I grew up thinking I knew better because of the information I keep finding. Such as Adam and eve forbidden history. Book of Enoch, book of Judah, and so on. But I was very skeptical and refused to realize that it is all good information but it is in design. So not long ago. Like 4 years ago. I stopped and paid very close attention. Churches were being burned down. They were desecrate with in. Their leaders letting satanic shows in these places of worship. Government leaders, actors, performances people, athletes, police, and so on, letting us know their beliefs of Satan. That was enough for me to stop being stupid. God is real for me.
Super complicated question, but a good one because folks see the misery around the world and wonder how God (form any one of the traditional religions) can possibly exist.
I'll suggest that while the universe isn't perfect, the evidence of God's existance is in the little things… like the friend you meet who helps you through a dark time in your life… or the good news you hear just as you're about to give up, which encourages you to move forward.
God is in the details.God does exist because someone saved me when I was hurt so bad. Sure the doctors did their best and their jobs, but the end result was Gods call. I saw something that made me think it wasn’t my time to die permanently, I did technically died three time and brought back.
I fight with this constantly but I've resolved that even if there's no God to love by Jesus's teachings and to pass those beliefs on to the future generations is worth it. At the end of the day man needs a higher belief to answer to, if not we're all selfish beasts to our own devices
plenty of proof that god is real. atheism FAILED to offer proof to attract followers so...
they make silly memes and episides in family guy or south park. funny but pathetic!
God Is not something just any idiot can talk about. They've been talking for centuries. Nothing anyone has really added since.
Most of the time they only talk about their opinions, or parrot the opinions of others.
I'm definitely not confused. I believe he is real through having faith. That's all you can do as a Christian.
