Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof... Creating a moment of silence in home room within a schools to allow prayers in your own mind, or just to get your head straight for the day is within the bounds of the law. People have a right to free exercise of religion. It doesn't matter what religion you follow. That said, schools do have codes of conduct, so if there is a moment of silence reserved for your possible religious prayer that means you have to do it silently and peacefully... You know, as in the right of the people peaceably to assemble. If your religion isn't all that peaceful then tough shit, I guess you're out of luck. I also believe allowing approved volunteer chaplains in school for counseling purposes is fair game. The government isn't mandating any religion in that scenario. It's not part of the curriculum that students learn. It is just providing a mental health counseling option that is more in tune with specific student's culture. It's all voluntary from the community and parents have to approve of it. That doesn't mean anyone and everyone is let into school just because they claim to be religious counsel. To work in a school environment you have to pass FBI background checks and come back clean. You can't have some rainbow haired pedophile tranny on the sex offender list that is actively involved in terrorist groups like ANTIFA infiltrate schools under the umbrella of the church of Satan. People have to have a spotless record and be cleared to be safe and of good moral character to be around children. If you are a Satanist, it's kind of against your religion to be of good moral character, thus you might not pass an interview and get cleared by administration. If you don't get cleared, tough shit, get over it.

Why should a place of learning teach or encourage superstitious nonsense of any variety at all?
I don't have a problem if everyone can worship in their own way, but unfortunately Christian nationalists will say "no, not like that!" when it comes to other religions.
Better just to keep all prayer out of schools so nobody gets offended.
No one should be praying in class, especially if it's a government school they're in. That's indoctrination, and the students should be doing other things with the limited amount of time they have there (like learning how to count and spell).

Seems fair. I like how the church of Satan does everything that Christians are allowed to do so Christians have to think about if they really wanted that to be allowed. If I had the energy I'd figure some way to help the church of Satan appear even more satanic to really help Christians understand why separation of church and state is for their own protection, too.
I don't think there should be any prayer in public school. It's offensive. People can pray to whomever they want after school.
Everyone should be allowed to follow their own religion, or none if they prefer. I don't think it should be promoted in schools. There are churches for that kind of thing. Schools should teach useful stuff, but of course that will never happen.
If they allow prayer in school I am doing pagan prayer. That's actually the main reason some Republicans don't support it. They only want Christan prayer in school.
i think you should have the right to freely practice your religion. i do not think that society should have to bend to your ways of practicing your particular religion.
like i don't see any reason for why you should be forbidden to pray at school. but i think your desire to pray should not interfere with everyone elses education.
look at the sign "change my mind" they just wanna argue n troll.
this is an example of lazy. he is like "i don't support my claims. i say whatever bs. now YOU argue".
lazy baiting troll. common in atheism.
Nope. Every Satanist I've ever ran into and seen are very strange people, too strange.
I agree lol. I don't necessarily mind it being in schools, as long as it's done privately and not pushed on any of the staff or kids.
I wouldn't waste my time trying to change his mind. How do you describe light to a person that has only known darkness.
If you want Christian grooming send your kids to camp on Caldey Island, Pembrokeshire.
As far as I know there is no longer prayer in the public schools. If there was I would certainly be against Satan Worship.
Pastafarians? Spaghetti worshippers?
No religion in schools should be the norm
