It's not one or the other. It's a combination. The physical and spiritual worlds are one. The physical world is the 'what,' the sensory reality. The spiritual world is the 'how,' the life and meaning behind the physical. When you die, you don't leave the physical world; you just stop perceiving it and start perceiving the spiritual world, which is the same reality. The spiritual world is where the results of our physical life are experienced. It's not just a 'return' to some other place; it's a change in perception of the very same world.
You remind me of fiction film, a guy could see both realms. He saw all the fences like flames blazing, hell, in the same place as the fences around people yard.
@strateguy632 I'm sure there is a fiction that fits just about anyone.
According to the Bible, those saved will live on The New Earth, in the New Jerusalem, and with God Himself. Just as God walked in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, we will be able to do so in Heaven, and even ask him questions. We will do the same things we do now - eat, drink, rest, and work. And we will never die. On the other hand, those that go to hell will have unquenchable thirst, be tossed in the Outer Darkness, and see no one. You will be totally alone with your thoughts and regrets, forever. That would indeed be hell. (Heaven - by Randy Alcorn).
Eat! That is in islam bible. But christian bible when we resurect it does not matter if had 3 wives when we were alive , life is too different.
I guess that depends on who, or what, judges my soul aside from myself. If it’s based on my own judgement, eternal paradise sounds quite nice and I’d like to go there.
But honestly, does it really matter what awaits us beyond death? We’re all going to find out eventually anyway, if we’re wrong, we’re wrong and we deal and it’ll be okay.
Both! Our spirit goes to spiritual realms to wait for judgement. the judgment decided which realm. Also the body will resurrect but in a different life. Mathew 22,30 the body will resurrect but like an angel.

The 3 forefathers will live.

Depends on God
Elijah got a spiritual return as John the Baptist
Some people died and then got resurrected and got put back in their own bodies
People die and God said they're sleeping in the ground waiting to be resurrected to go to heaven or hell
I believe that our soul returns to it's creator and god decides where we go after...
Our physical body remains here on earth, it was created here and will remain here, a body without a soul will be fused again with nature under many forms!
neither thing. i think it will just be the end of my being and my experience alltogether. as the very thing i'm refering to when i say "i" will not exist anymore.
Your soul is returned to The Creator for disposition.
Resurrection in Heaven and Hell
