Why are more and more catholics exiting? what is so bad, that chased more and more, past loyal catholics, away?

Last year stats, for 2023, for each one joining catholic SEVEN left catholic but now MORE leave...

for each one joining Catholicism, in 2024 , Catholicism has lost 8.4 people for every person it has gained through ‘religious switching’ in the U. S.

the hemorrhaging is SO bad, it pulls the Protestant good ratio to an overall ratio for christians , has lost six people for every person it has gained.

what is so bad that chased more and more past loyal catholics away? It can't be atheism, because that is not new, it has been tempting for decades so why are the catholic "pews" emptying?

For the first time the numbers joining and leaving the church is about the same. there's a real resurgence in the church and its coming from under 22s, and within the church a real return to old school traditional Catholicism. This reflects an over all trend in soceity with youth adopting more conservative views than over 25s and 30 year olds, you know basically anyone who wasn't in their teens and 20s during the 2000-2016 period.

I go by the Catholic church on the weekends and the parking lot is always full and they are building a new church on land that is behind the current church.

no it is an a small affluent town in the northeast.

indeed new england has a higher concentration of catholic like connecticut and near it. those tiny states with few people also have bigger percent of jehova witness and mormon.
