There is absolutely no difference in any groups you mention.

A psychopath under religion will kill "in the name of god". That's like fasting in the name of weight gain. The "name" makes no difference to what is being done. Surely that does not make spirituality a bad thing. Like anti-anorexic action isn't automatically bad as a whole just because some people choose to combat anorexia with prescribed fasting.

The real gradient is morality vs insanity.

And there is a problem with atheists teaching that morality is aubjective and encourage evil acts of rebellion.

Religion that plugs the ability to learn is not good, obviously, it is called dogma. Atheism more often than not, falls under the category of a dogma plugging the ability to learn.

Official dictionary definitions of dogma, cult, religion - all 3 have secondary definitions that match the primary definition of the others. So if you keep confusing them, then:

broadly speaking, atheism and religion are both dogmas. Both susceptible to becoming cults that cause harm. Using the word "religion" is at this point counterproductive, because it can imply either of them, since all 3 words can be, with a little bit of dictionary thumping, officially made synonymous.

Religious and it's not even close. They'd kill for reasons without any logic and just write off that god told them. An Atheist has to make argument to why that's more grounded.

Definitely religious fanatics. In certain countries, you can even be sentenced to death (sometimes in horrible ways) for not following their beliefs.

Meanwhile with atheists, at worst you might get ridiculed for your beliefs in imaginary beings from the sky or talking to walls aka praying. However, after that brief encounter life goes on, you can head to work, go back home, go on trips, go back to your family, etc. At least you still have your freedom and your life isn't at stake.

Have we ever burned you at the stake, hang you, threatened you with eternal hell or bombarded your house with threats for believing in your fictitious character? Nope. But religious fanatics have done all that. They brought misery and suffering to humanity.

I guess this is what they call "Omfg" moment. They video available earlier today vanished. It was an old ass documentary nearly 2 decades old. All it did was literslly interview cable news broadcasters and compile their works. Nothing else. It stayed on YouTube for years.
