Not an atheist here (im agnostic), but since atheist dont believe in a god or a hell, then where exactly would they be going in that scenario or who would they be obeying?
Your presumption here is that God does indeed exist as written, I suppose, but there is no real proof of that, is there? Only belief.
It's great if that's what you have found to be your truth and I hope that you get what you are looking for. I don't tend to buy into a vengeful god theory, though I do leave room for the possibility of a higher power of some sort. I guess I hope I get what I want too.
You're a perfect example of why I will never get married. I don't think God exists, I absolutely know God exists because I have seen God and his Angels.
Seeing imaginary things is usually a sign of mental illness. You should get that checked.

The problem with using hell as a threat to atheists, is that it also threatens each religions. How can I risk hell in my religion if I go to hell in other religions. similarly 'join Islam to avoid hell' doesn't avoid hell if christians are right.
Depends on the god and what his demands are. A god that requires obedience in the first place is already up there towards "I'd rather go to what you call hell. At least I don't know a tyrant like you is in charge".
Another god I'd rather go to "hell" because of, a god that says "you didn't believe the correct religion. To hell with you"
