Would you prefer to go to Heaven or Hell?

Of course this is an hypothetical question if these two places really existed.

I don't believe in heaven, hell, and purgatory (you forgot about this one)...
I think reincarnation is more realistic.
Why?
Because human mind is a form of energy, and we all know that energy never disappears, it only changes form.

In order to enjoy heaven, or to be tormented in hell - humans need a physical body.
Heaven and hell are here on Earth, for rich people it's usually heaven, for poor people it's hell. I suppose for most people it's more like purgatory.

If anyone had to choose, they would say heaven, mythological, or the more realistic one on planet Earth, to be born as a rich person.

I refer you to the fantasy author Robert Block's short story: "The Hellbound Train" . Consider that GOD always had the ABILITY to simply 'un-create' Lucifer but instead CHOSE to assign the fallen angels to a place of eternal exile wherein they'd create THEIR OWN society's dictates and Lucifer's reply: "Better to reign in Hell than be subservient in Heaven..."   In GOD'S infinite wisdom, the deity KNEW Lucifer would EVENTUALLY learn with such privilege its tied to reciprocal obligating responsibility!

There are some crazy @ss religious people in this world. I would go so far, based in my own personal experience, to say the majority of crazy people fall back on religion either as permission or excuse for their own behaviors.

If crazy people go to heaven then hell might be the cooler party. The scary bedtime stories might even be their screen to keep crazies out.

Since these are hypothetical places it would have to be heaven because the concept of it means that all that is about you is pleasing and makes you happy. HOWEVER, the idea that happy becomes the NORM makes me want to scream as there needs to be something that makes it valid that one can recognise they are happy and not just "normal". Thus it would be on the revolving door between the two places that would be my settling place where people go between each realm and give an exposure of them as we rotate around the carousel of existence.

Hell, I would Rather Go to Hell!..

It's not like I want to go there.. to suffer.

It's That, Heaven sounds too good to be True!.. it cannot be real. At least with hell I will know it's real.

Pain is the proof that I am alive, and That Pain and Penance will make a better person in next life!..

And Also there is a loophole, What happens to a person who Goes to Hell and has done all his sufferings complete, what do they do in hell after that? I want to know that!

IF Hell is the place to be for people who refused, philosophically, to submit to gods and masters then...

I guess I'm going to get whipped like a cream by succubuses and meat-grinding red demons until I yield? Though it makes little sense because if hell is hot then there can't be whipped cream? So, by this logic, I'm going to heaven instead. With a winter coat, imagine how cold it must be up there in the cotton clouds Brrrrrrr

They both sound horrible, but I guess I would prefer to have to kiss someone's ass for eternity instead of being burned for eternity. It's not really much of a choice when you think about it. It's like holding a gun to someone's head and saying you can worship me or I can kill you. Which one do you want?

In my estimation, the former sounds an awful lot better than the latter.

I’m not too sure that we are all able to drink from the same cup as He, But I suppose there’s no harm in giving it a go.

I kind of get the impression that if we were to go to hell then it would really be a very palatable place!

I have no particular basis for wanting to go to either of two vaguely defined fictional places. I couldn't care less about "Heaven", "Hell", Elysium, Tartarus, Nirvana, Patala, Tir Na Nog, Valhalla, Folkvangr, Niflhel, Aaru, Mictlan, Diyu, nor any other weird mythical netherworld of positive nor negative attribute.
Where I want to go is nowhere. To cease to exist. Which is what will happen eventually.

That heavily depends on one’s interpretation of the two planes. I would think, based on the christian canon, most people would prefer to go to Heaven when they die.

Depends on if Hell is like a hospital or jail.

If it is a jail the sentence is life without parole, then Heaven.

If Hell is like a hospital and I'm there for treatment until my sinful ways are purged allowing me to then go to Heaven, then I might try Hell.
