IS = Islamic State. The shooters viewpoint was "allah is one". Why they picked on Jewish people whom see God as one, makes no sense... not logical. But Allah is not a logical God, most are not. It's more an affront to Christians whom see God as 3 in 1.
Some people don't have the brain to conceptualize God differently after it's drilled into their heads. Deeply believing God is 1 and other people around saying God is 3, is like "gas lighting"... not all unlike what some of the LGBTQ+ people experience when someone confuses Him/Her... is very hurtful inside.
So they get angry and shoot... everyone. Hatred and anger and pride don't have a clear direction. Quite normal for many humans.
You see how beliefs lead to problems right? So some people end up with no beliefs... can also bad.
If cannot understand them and learn to live in peace, gonna to have to eliminate all sources of IS... remember the George Bush years? Right? Otherwise, you play defense and every now and then, a bunch of people get massacred... maybe you.
What changes are you making to deal with "the reality". There have been several such attacks recently, seems wise to assume more forthcoming.
Unlikely to get them all out very fast... that's reality.

If you cannot consider God, Consider football. Football has special teams for offense, defense and certain strategies. That is what GOd is. Christians see G0d as 3 in 1, because those three special teams serve God's specific interests. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You are free to believe what you want to believe. My belief is that if you do not embrace Jesus Christ as God Incarnate, as your funeral day approaches, you will be all dressed up and no place to go. The good news is that I do not believe in an eternal hell of Torment. I believe in spiritual death. Eternally lights out.
There are extremists everywhere but it turns out sadly that muslims are on top, ofc not all muslims, i'm saying that people who claims to be muslim has big numbers of terrorists!
Personally i'm against any terrorist, no matter what they believe in or no matter from where they came...

I don't agree with it either. But one justifies the other.
It ends up being about power and belief.
There's something called the attacker and the defender, they might look the same when it comes to destruction and mortalities but always remember that the defender is just defending himself while the aggressor is attacking the others!
So if there was no aggression, there wouldn't be any resistance!
Their actions are not irrational in the context of Islam.
Others interpret texts like kill the polytheists, IS doesn't. They just straight up kill them.
Very few of their actions are really unislamic. Unfortunately banning incitement to mass murder would be religious discrimination in this case.

didn't watch but I read about it and aware of the movie.
It's driving someone nuts..."there's 3 lights on the ceiling... no... there's' 4". they question their sanity.
