Just about everyone in the MAGA cult called him out for this one. Only Trump can somehow make everything in the universe about himself. But they'll go bow down and beg for forgiveness tomorrow and the ass kissing will resume. Shame these momentary episodes of lucidity don't last long for them.
Trump has a long history of vile comments. Perhaps if Republicans had the balls to call him out earlier rather than rejoicing in his vulgarities he would not have made such a childish inappropriate comment on this death.
They're right; Trump's comments were disgusting given the situation and timing. It's a thing about Trump I strongly dislike. But I disliked the direction our country was going in before his second term began much more.
And polls show it clearly is going in the wrong direction now. Policy choices don't give a pass for deep and serious character defects.
They are vile and shameful, but consider the source.
