Is it wrong to be offended by Trump Jesus attacks/smears?

I don't know why, but as a Christian, I find these Trump Jesus smears/attacks highly offensive, I get it people don't like Trump, I myself is one of them, but you don't need to go around and attack/smear everyone you disagree with/don't like as a Trump Jesus worshiper, because not every you disagree with is a diehard Trump supporter. Just had someone post a Trump Jesus picture with a bunch Trump worshiping nonsense, which is highly offensive to assume I worship a false profit. Labeling everyone you disagree with politically as a Trump worshiper is no different than labeling everyone who's Muslim as a terrorist.

Not at all- feelings are just feelings. The vitriol Trump gets as political figure isn't really related to his policies or actions, or even the vitriol he got as a PUBLIC figure (this is not to say those things are unworthy of condemnation, mind; I'm just trying to stay on-topic): it's that his supporters are, in large measure, the EXACT people the Democratic party claims to have as its own support base. Trump proved, beyond any reasonable doubt, that they're not the party of the working class any more, and the cognitive dissonance involved in confronting that would break the minds of many of the rank-and-file who think that "Republican" automatically equals "old, rich, white man".

So instead, they attack his supporters, claiming they unthinkingly worship him and all he does and says. Ad hominem attacks are, after all, SO much easier than self-reflection and admitting your own flaws. And it's not like the guy's self-obsessed nature doesn't make it easy.

It's not just Trump supporters they attack, they even attack fellow Democrats as a Trump worshipers for not agreeing with them 100%. Funny thing is, those same people who attack others for blindly worshiping Trump, themselves blindly worship Hillary and Biden.

Trump campaigned on ending the "stupid wars", only to veto a bill that would have ended US's support for the genocidal year in Yemen. There is a sort of Cult of False Dichotomy among many on here. Lots of posters seem to assume that if you disagree with Biden then you must be a "Trumptard" or if you disagree with Trump you must be a "Bidenista" or a "Leftist." It escapes those shallow thinkers that one can actually like or loath one or both and/or agree with one on some things and with the other on other things. I agree with you. I voted for Trump twice, but I'm an Independent, yet many people on here assume I'm a Conservative despite being pro-choice and non religious. I think Trump did a great job as president, but can agree he was polarizing and gave a lot of scummy people in the mainstream media careers. Biden is worse on every single level though, and saying that doesn't make me right-leaning; it's just common sense and facts.

I don't fit into the Democrat/Liberal or Republican/Conservative molds, but I do think the radical left is far worse right now.
