Who else thinks it doesn't make any sense that Mary was a virgin her WHOLE life?

Catholics and Orthodox believe this. I think the case for her being a virgin only until after Jesus was born is stronger. We're supposed to believe she never had sex with Joseph? And Jesus's siblings weren't literally his siblings? I don't agree with that interpretation.

No. Because at the Annunciation, as reported to us in Luke 1, the Archangel Gabriel tells Mary that Jesus will "inherit the throne of his father David". David had been dead for nearly 1,000 years by then, so how could Jesus have been called "Son of David"? The only logical conclusion is that it had something to do with the way that the Jews thought of lineage. David had numerous children, who in turn had children of their own and so forth throughout generations, so there would have been many other contemporaries of Jesus who would have also been able to be called "sons of David", and therefore "brothers of Jesus."

That and the simple fact that he himself said that those who did the will of God were his brothers and sisters.

Therefore, yes. Mary was in fact a virgin throughout her life.

Probably they acted married. If she needed to stay virgin, I don't mean hymen that broke at birth, Josef would send her so break up.

Also the story 'these are my brothers ' proved the brothers who came were literal.

Abstaining from sex is a hallmark of the Catholic and orthodox church as well as the early church.

Skme texts say that Joseph was an old man when he married Mary is said to be 12-1_ when she gave birth.
