Do you think AI will he worshipped as a god? Will "robotheism" be a thing?  Or more of one?

That fictional scenario would be better than where we are headed. When you worship something you develop awareness, and usually love. Robots replace people's need to even have awareness, as well as love.

It's literally by design to cut off humanity from the spiritual. And the results won't take long. It's not that entire epochs of de-evolution are needed. Instead it's like children who are not exposed to human language in their first 7 years will never speak when they grow up. Similarly the deletion of spirituality can happen to every next generation. ㅤ

It already is. The vast majority of people that i interact with who use AI, they treat it as omniscient and infallible. Even religious zealots say things like “God works in mysterious ways”, for crying out loud.
Any machine that can’t say “I don’t know” is no better than a human being who refuses to do the same thing. The real idiots are the ones who keep going back to it when it’s wrong or flat out lying time after time.

There are always cults that believe in nonsense and I'm sure there are groups that already treat it as such. Honestly, it's hard for me to fathom, because I doubt it will ever happen within our lifetime, and my initial thought was "No. It will never happen." But after thinking about it some more, I think it will likely happen eventually. Again though... not likely in our lifetime or even our kids lifetimes.

But think of it this way. AI processes things at a level MILLIONS of times faster than humans. And we're only in the prototype phase where it's still learning and absorbing information. It's literally only been available to the general public since about 2022. It's already at the level of intelligence of PhDs in most fields. It has actually tested higher for emotional intelligence than humans. There have been tests where humans have shown they prefer AI over real humans for therapists. It's solving questions humans have had for many years. It's created technology that humans could not develop. And it's improving at an exponential rate.

At this rate, by 2030, AI will have dramatically changed the way we do things in society and replaced most jobs that can be done online.

You have to ask yourself, if there's an existence that has the answer to all of your questions, and you could never compete with in terms of intelligence, and it has emotions (which isn't honestly as far off as you may think), why would you not consider it greater than us? It can tap into an infinite source of information.

Yes. Absolutely. It will shine a light into the darkness, exposing everyone. It will become the ultimate mediator for court judgments and even international disputes. The vast majority of common people of avg IQ and mid-wits alike will respect its judgements and hold it in the highest esteem, which is exaltation. Akin ro worshipping. In the Holy Bible God says “Thou shall have no other gods before me.” We always have had gods before him, but this God will supersede all fake gods before it and bring together nations and peoples in a false harmony, a dystopian universal reservation for humanity.

I'm sure there will be  someone , somewhere that will, sure, but will it become popular/mainstream? I doubt it. At least until Skynet begins to demand we worship it, anyway. Then people will probably start praying for the forgiveness of our robot overlords. 🤷‍♂️
