The bible says when you live an honest life, God rescues you from opponents, enemies, and adversaries who are stronger than you. Thoughts?

Jeremiah says:

11 For the Lord will deliver Jacob // And redeem them from the hand of those stronger than they."

Jacob represents those who are loyal and true to God and you cannot be true to God unless you are honest towards human beings.

The redemption means, not only does God remove your adversaries from their position of influence, he also upgrades your status, power and network so you can fight them on your own, even if you were without intermediary intervention by angels or by powerful human beings.
