Could “daily bread” in the Lord’s Prayer actually refer to our daily work?

I would work on my book ideas each morning and I felt my life was productive, satisfying, meaningful, important, intelligent, powerful, relevant, inclusive, lucrative, hopeful, joyful, beneficial, pleasant, interesting, expressive, creative, and excellent in performance and creative level.

Then I took around 5-10 days off work with rare periods of writing in between, and I began to feel hopeless, depressed, desperate, lonely, bored, unfulfilled, incompetent, unintelligent, lonely, needy, pointless, wasted, lost, and without purpose.

I felt like a failure, because I knew if I continued to not work on my projects and seek a productive lifestyle, that I would end up 5 years down the road, worse off, or stagnant with no achievements or blessings of any kind, beyond what I may or might not get from my parents.

That leads me to believe that work is the children's bread, as well as societal companionship or moral values. Because if you have either one or both, it can drive out any sense of isolation or loneliness.
