Was the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor Nicholas Brendon ruined by Hollywood fame?

The one who played Buffy’s doting and rejected male friend on Buffy the Vampire slayer was charged for extreme violence towards 3 of his girlfriends. Nicholas Brendon was single at the time of his death, and his second marriage lasted less than a year.

A lot of kind and caring people become corrupt once they reach Hollywood status. And a lot of musicians were religious before fame, then become Wiccan after they get rich.

He probably thought that he became a big star, but in reality, his career ended after the show. I can't think of any other tv show or a movie where he was in the main cast.

But I never knew he actually passed away... he wasn't that old.

Anyway, besides Buffy the tv show, I also liked Buffy - the movie, with Kristy Swanson... she was kinda more dominant in the role - compared to Sarah Michelle Gellar.
I mean, Faith was so much tougher slayer than Buffy in the tv show.

I wonder who will play Buffy in movie remake... or tv reboot.

His career was basically over when the show ended. All of a sudden the money stopped rolling in and nobody cared about him anymore. He started having substance abuse problems. He just went crazy.

I'm not sure where you're getting that info but there's a helluva lot of poor Wiccans too!

And I know you consider Wicca to be evil but it really isn't.
