The First Law of Thermodynamics states that Energy can't be created nor destroyed.
However, if that were true, nothing should exist in the first place.
"From nothing comes nothing." - Rene Descartes.
The Second Law of Thermodynamics contradicts the First law, because it proves the Universe cannot be self-eternal. If Entropy always increases and future potential work always decreases, then the Universe cannot be past eternal, which means it had to have a beginning, which means it had to be created by a pre-existing reality.
The second law of thermodynamics states that the total entropy (disorder) of an isolated system can never decrease over time and is constant only if all processes are reversible. It dictates that heat spontaneously flows from hot to cold, not vice versa, and that energy conversions are never \(100\%\) efficient, with some energy always lost as waste heat

first of all... the principle is about the conservation of energy
and, also... these "laws" have been reviewed many times for different kinds of systems, and mostly mechanical ones...
the thing you quoted is more a Superman/Hollywood doctor evil stuff... lol
That refers to new energy. But only in nature it can't but a miracle can and did.
Allow me to show you something. The Bible states that God created the Universe by Wisdom. The Universe obeys precise logical laws at every scale of existence. This automatically rules out a "random chance" origin story of the Universe which is preferred by Atheists.
However, it rules out miracles too. By definition, a Miracle is something which allegedly violates the laws of physics.
I believe in God, but I don't actually believe in "miracles" because God can't violate his own laws.
That's found in Proverbs 3:19, by the way, which goes along with 4:7
i get you reject 'jesus changed water to wine' but 'laws of nature' are not laws that forbid. not illegal nor crime to break those laws. just within physics it won't happen.
proverbs 3:19 did not say 'using physics' it means "wisely like planning" : "by wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations,
by understanding he set the heavens in place" for example planning distance from sun! put earth and "place in heaven".
I took Thermo in college. It all seemed to make sense back then.
but asked a good problem about entropy. can't be eternal. which proved a start. they estimated 14 billion years. admitted a start. same as first word of genesis!
