Do you value job dignity over money, or is income all that matters?

My question is, do you care about job dignity or is money the only thing you care about?

I had cousins tell me to lie on my resume to get a job. I refused to do that, and I got rejected for the job after the job interviewer suggested I send them a revised resume for their team to view and evaluate to decide if further interviews for potential job roles should be done for me.

When I used to work at my old job, I could have been totally lazy and I would have gotten the same pay, but as a Jewish bible reader, I believe you honour God by being excellent at what you do, so I would try hard to make as many sales as possible.

Mainly because I have never worked a single job for money, since I do not need money, I worked purely because work is a way of serving God. And if you are lazy, you are not serving God properly.
