Does the Bible really promise blessings for kindness to the weak?

The bible says when you show kindness to those who are worse off than you, God rescues you from your problems, and when you show cruelty to those who are worse off than you, God adds to your problems.

I knew a masculine looking women in middle school that was always bullied by others for her unfeminine appearance, but she always defended bullied kids that were less popular than her;

When she was 21, I saw her again online and she was beautiful and feminine looking, she did not look like the masculine hulk like figure she did as a teenager.

I knew another person that would always help people who were less popular than her, and now she is in the top 1% in society. And she looks like a model too.

I knew a guy that always went out of his way to befriend people nobody respected and now he has a medical degree from an Ivy League school. Before his Ivy League medical degree, he already had a PhD from Yale.

Yes, I believe this to be true, I've always done good things for people less fortunate than me and God never failed me.
