Could you share any personal experiences you have had with a high-control religious group or cult? Specifically, what was the nature of that experience, what kind of trauma or distress did you encounter, how has it affected you over time, and what primary concerns or issues do you have regarding how cults operate?

I stay away from religious people like the plague. I consider those people damaged and dangerous to society. So I have zero direct experience with cults.

I don't even do well in low-control religions. I much prefer to define all my beliefs on my own without anyone preaching to me about "right" and "wrong".
