Do you still go to church every Sunday, or not really anymore?

I quit going when I was 7 years old I mean I've been to church probably a dozen times but I don't hold the religion I'm spiritual not under anybody's thumb because I don't believe in the things that they teach they use a lot of Scare Tactics if you really think about it most churches are business now and they tell you what you want to hear or what they want to tell you to scare you into going to hell or whatever There's No One Church that owns God God wanted us to be all spiritual more spiritual like him not a religion where you're guided and taught whatever the preacher wants to tell you

I stopped going to church when I took classes in systematic theology and apologetics which were meant to reinforce my faith but, ironically, convinced me that the Christian Bible, as well as the Christian dogma, is nonsensical, illogical, and downright self-contradictary... I was 17. Before anybody decides to argue, understand this was after being in Christian education since I was 3 and attending church several times per week, I was solid in my faith and these classes were meant to make that faith stronger before I left for public university.

I haven't been to church in 22 years. Why would I support all the false prophets who control organized religion? They only care about increasing their own wealth. They don't give a damn about you or me or anyone else.

I gave church for Lent when I was 13 and never went back. I concluded that God is just Santa Clause for adults.
