Do people really have hidden karma values that shape what happens to them?

I know a lot of people who tried to ruin my life, not knowing I am the elect of God and they will be punished for it. By the time they learned who I was, it was too late, their brain damage or mental illness or poverty was permanent.

Not necessarily. Good people have lost, and bad people have won. Nothing is really ever black & white
