Can God protect us from hidden dangers through unexpected choices?

The bible says God can protect you from hidden dangers if you live a life of fairness, equality and dedicated quality work for God.

I once was tempted to gossip about a disrespectful person to a person that gossiped about someone else to me.

I decided not to gossip for random reasons I could not really understand.

And I found out a short term later the person I considered gossiping about was married to the person I considered gossiping about them too.

And when I first began using Uber, I had a bad experience with my second driver and I was tempted to give them a low rating. But I decided not to lower their rating.

I later learned uber drivers rate you after you rate them and if I had gotten a 1 star rating on my second ride, I would have never been able to get rides on uber again. Because most riders average 4.7 in their rating.

Can God protect us from hidden dangers through unexpected choices?
