At which age does life stop being dynamic and starts being the static and same-old like as in you don't expect meaningful opportunities to pop up, specifically for romantic relationships?

I felt that at 27 years of age. Felt it in smaller scales starting from 24 years old. Truthfully though when I was 15 years old and i was forcibly displaced, i expected to never escape and die from starvation or something.

By now at 30 years of age, the dynamic mysteries ended. I saw the past. I predicted my past from my previous pasts (except my escape). I foresee my future today. For my life is over, set it stone, no more surprises like getting a girlfriend or the exciting things, that the young are privileged to experience in stable and safe regions and conditions.

And I'm still broke.

Let’s run down why:

• Women’s expectations are crazy. Not unusual for them to expect 0.01% of men. They think they deserve the best man in the world.
• Dating apps, 80% women only chase the top 5% of men and complain we’re all trash.
• Women don’t want to be traditional in anyway, yet men have to be traditional and be ‘the man.’
• It’s questionable if women are taught to hate men. There clearly is constant man bashing. They never want to please us 🤷 the respect is gone
• Most guys my age and single, and I think ‘how the hell are they gonna find a girl’ the girl’s just want the ferraris.
  
  
• Yet women don’t need us 🤷
• Social media made women think that such a rare type of man is common and attainable

I get lots of matches etc… but why should they deserve a guy like me? They should earn it

On Halloween night I hit up a kava bar that I like to frequent. I’m not an alcoholic but I’ve really stayed away from booze in the last few years just for health reasons. The place is meant for recovery.

While I went to order a kava drink I noticed that bartender was dressed in a provocative sexy nurse uniform costume. She was showing cleavage.

I was acquaintances with this girl. Knew her first name. We had briefly friendly conversations in the past. She is cute but I never hit on her. I was always respectful. I am guessing she’s in her mid 20s.

Anyway my eyes instinctively glanced at her body and when I realized I was staring I quickly turned away. Again she was dressed provocatively.

Despite catching myself it was too late. She noticed that I noticed and she didn’t like it. She then gave me gave me the “don’t stare at me you creep” look.

And that really pissed me off. Of course I never did nor ever will say anything stupid. My eyes instinctively noticed for a good second but it’s not like I kept on staring. I didn’t indulge the thought. What right does she have to judge me given she fricken dressed up that way to get noticed to begin with?

Anyway I can’t control how people are going to think. But this is a major hypocrisy I see in women. They dress provocatively expecting to only get attention from where they want it vs. naively expecting not get noticed from where they don’t.

Hate that.

New relationships have so much excitement and energy. There are surprises and unexpected pleasures and every day brings something new. But after some period of months, or maybe a few years, there aren't many surprises and the excitement isn't at the same level as before. Eventually, you've tried everything you wanted to do in the bedroom and you are repeating things you've done before. It's the same-old same-old.

Some people are okay with things settling into a routine. For some of us, knowing what to expect is comfortable, and we don't have a need for excitement as much as we need stability and comfort. But some people need more excitement and stimulation. (How many people claim that they cheated on a partner because they got "bored?")

For this question, "long term relationship" means a relationship that has lasted at least one year. What do YOU need in a LTR: stability and comfort, or excitement and novelty?
