In my life I had two women do this for me - one was a short relationship, the other my wife. My wife does it on occasion - she gets into one of her stunning dresses, books one of our favorite restaurants (and some are in pretty far cities), she's the one driving and treating me.

It feels really nice to be the one getting courted, the only thing I have to do is to kick back and not overeat/drink because of course she expects to "have desserts" at home. Once she even surprised me by booking a room so we could enjoy the city more and drive back the next day.

I would never expect a woman to pay for anything on a date. If she offered to pay, I would initially tell her it was not necessary, but if she did not initially accept my offer to pay, I would accede to her request. If she wants to pay and I refuse, that is just rude behavior.

I've had it happen, usually on a second or third date. The times it has happened, the lady was an attorney and had a good income.

It's never happened to me before but it would be great if it did. Most women either just sit back and let me pay, or they offer to pay half but if I let them there's never been a second date.
