Search Results: Are there really any signs

i've been a member at this gym several times over the last 5 or 6 years , hadn't been there for several months due to covid as it had been closed or at limited capacity

but just went back and not really impressed with the way there handling things. my observations are there basically not following any of the guidelines , at least a large % of there members aren't

i think they've misinterpreted the local mask rules wrong , they seem to have talked to someone at health department previously who said it was ok to take mask off when working out if it was uncomfortable or unnecessary. but there members have decided to not wear a mask at all when inside there despite the fact there in an indoor mask mandate in our area for all public spaces which includes gyms , the staff said your still suppose to wear a mask in common areas and in change rooms but the staff themselves aren't wearing masks either when in the office , but 90 % of the people coming in to the gym aren't wearing a mask when they enter or leave and make no attempt to either. i've also seen the owner maskless walking around the gym talking to people , so perhaps he's anti mask or doesn't care about covid?

they also have a sign in sheet at the front door , your suppose to sign your name , time and check off if you have any symptoms etc but they all ignore it and no one signs in. they also have a hand sanitizer there and never seen anyone use it either

so needless to say i'm left speechless by whats going on here , can't believe they haven't already got a ticket or been visited by the local health department

only been back a couple times since i re joined at start or Nov and not really sure what to do about this
