To simplify things, I had a huge crush on a man. We both flirted with each other and it was clear (well it is now) that he was into me. However, we couldn’t be together (I won’t explain why).

He always displayed some kind of jealousy when he saw me with another man I. e giving them dirty looks, asking me if I was with them, getting upset when he found out I was chatting to his male colleague on Instagram.

I moved on and I’m now engaged. For some reason, he DESPISES my partner. He always gives him dirty looks, ignores him, presumed at first he was just a friend. When he found out I was buying a house, he seemed very happy but when he found out I was buying it with my partner, the smile vanished off his face.

Every time I see him, he is asking about our relationship and if it is working out. He asks how things are, and when I ask how things are with him, he says (abruptly) “perfect. Everything’s perfect.”

28F, just leaning towards bad luck. I’m very introverted & not the friendliest but I don’t think I’m intimidating. I’m told I’m cute/attractive, it’s not like I’m a runway model yet guys just never approach me. I’m told guys look at me but they never do anything about it & I’m too shy. I know there’s nothing wrong with me, most women seem to get guys so easily. That’s why I’ve been on and off the apps since I was maybe 18, getting matches has never been a prob. Convo always fades, ghosting, lack of interest (goes both ways) & some guys who are crazy. I’ve tried a lot of them, usually I stick with Hinge. It’s always a pattern of the guys I want who don’t want me back & the ones that want me I don’t like back. For maybe the past year I’ve become less and less interested, I reply to matches/msgs every couple of days? Even when I was more engaged it still led to the same pattern of no success. A few people have said maybe I’m asexual (haven’t had sex or masturbated in years), assume I’m gay or I’m unsure of what I want. Maybe they’re all wrong & simply I haven’t found the right person? I dated someone for a few months back when I was 23 & after dealing with someone I felt like I settled for, I decided I’d rather be alone vs be with someone I am not crazy for. I’m kind of at the point where I’m apathetic & I just feel too old to be bothered.

I had a huge crush on a guy for several years. I’ll refer to him as “A”. We used to flirt like crazy and I could tell he was into me. It was all in the intense eye contact and the body language. He also displayed jealousy if I was “flirting” with someone else.

A couple of years ago, I met another man to who I am now engaged. The first time “A” saw me with my partner, he completely ignored us and presumed he was just a friend. When he found out we were together, he constantly gave him dirty looks and was icily polite if he had to talk to him.

When A found out I was moving in with him and getting married to him, he became quiet and moody in his interaction with me. I saw him today and he barely said a word. I asked him if he was ok, and he said “yes, everything’s perfect”. He said it quietly gave me a fake smile.

Is he upset by the fact that I’m with someone else? Is he obsessed/in love with me?
