So there's a girl at work who for one week straight until a Saturday I noticed has been staring at me even when I notice and take a quick look back to see if she's still staring. I couldn't really tell if she smiled back or what because I would look for one second and look away and saw she would keep her gaze until I was gone plus she had a mask on a few times. She wears glasses but I notice sometimes she takes her glasses off and puts them on and I tried to to notice or take a guess when and I don't want to say she is but she might be copying me. Finally a week after she was staring at me and I didn't say anything to her I finally go up to her and ask her for her name which she tells me, I introduce myself to her and tell I'm probably interested in getting to know her more she says okay and after that she kinda ignores me. She didn't tell me she had a boyfriend when I said I wanted to get to know her but deep down I have a feeling she has a boyfriend and she was playing with me the whole time. Before moving on I'm going to give a few things about her, one of them being I notice she kind of keeps to herself so that kind of gives me hints she either keeps to herself or she doesn't want to be bothered by anyone. Not sure but sometimes she goes home early which gives me hints of her having a child. She's a light skin Spanish girl which gives me hints that she is playing with me since Spanish women don't date dark skin men and I'm what you would call a black American, she's not exotic hot Spanish woman but moreso homely cute, and her work clothes isn't something that makes her stand out it's more loose fit baggy jeans. The reason I didn't go over to her and went a week later is because I wasn't and still not sure if she actually is interested in me because I'm old (41) and she looks young, she's Spanish and I'm black, and this is a first for me. Is she playing me or am I being to BP'ed.

I bought the ASUS TUF V249Q3R to bypass Optimus, in hopes of boosting CPU performance, but it just caused thermal throttling to worsen more. The monitor itself is fine, but due to physical limitations of x86 CPU in a laptop, I can't do anything about it besides getting a desktop. Had my gaming laptop's thermals not severely degraded, I'm sure that bypassing Optimus would've helped and not hindered performance. Sadly my laptop doesn't have a MUX switch nor does it have Advanced Optimus, so using an external monitor via HDMI was my only choice.

Should I keep it but not use it for gaming, or refund it and continue using my laptop as is? If I refund it, I have to send the box and monitor back to Amazon and they'll take part of my refund to cover shipping costs. If I keep it, I won't use it for gaming due to the dGPU being fully utilized, which then makes my CPU even hotter due to laptop heatsink. By the way, I already re-applied thermal paste, undervolted and power limited CPU, and also use a cooling pad, so don't suggest to do those. I've had my gaming laptop since January 2020, so it's been almost 6 years and I'm surprised it hasn't died on me yet.
