I had terrible acne during my teenage years and even though I longer have acne, but I still have post acne scars where my pores on the skin are pretty huge and obvious. From time to time my partner would comment on my skin by saying "you picked on your acne during your teenage years which caused bad scars now" it makes me feel awful like I'm not attractive enough for him and I don't even point out on his flaws but he would always judge my appearance

Im not sure what other men think of such acne scars on women. Despite having proper hygiene and eating clean, taking care of my skin these scars are difficult to get rid off. Also, the laser treatment by dermatologist is expensive.

Does it even matter to you if the girl who you are in a relationship with or dating doesn't have clear skin? Is it a deal breaker?

Sometimes I still feel pretty.

But yesterday I took a photo of myself upon waking up I had not even opened my eyes yet, my eyes are still unable to open because of the light and still in dream mode but I lifted my hand 🖐️ with my 📱 phone and squinted with one eye to see the camera option, then I closed my eyes and just clicked on take photos and went right back to sleep.

when I finally woke up I went back to look at the photos 😨 I looked so ugly!! I never thought I looked so ugly before.

I always thought I look so pretty! Especially days I get ready.

sure there were days I thought I didn’t look so nice and maybe sometimes ugly. But not to this level.

Im about to turn 39 in about a month from now.
Most people always confused me for being 20 and these photos are for the first time telling me I look old. I see it in those specific photos.

how old were you when you started to think you look ugly? Or started to see it?
