Such a blanket ban, even if temporary, only threatens to drive more plants and animals to the brink, they say.

Every time I eat Chinese food, I proceed to eat the fortune cookie afterwards. I have never been impressed by the taste of a fortune cookie on a single occasion, at a single restaurant. What a disappointing thing to be called a “cookie.” And the lame fortune stuffed inside of it makes even worse. I think fortune cookies should be discarded and no longer served.
