Was I too pushy?

Been texting this girl who lives in another state for about two weeks. Talked on the phone once. Tried calling her again (texting continued between calls) no answer. She texts back she is busy trying to get ahead with work because she will be flying to my state and city for an event. I tried to push to meet since it’s long distance and seen it as a good opportunity cuz of the distance. Felt like she could’ve told me earlier she was coming. Also kept saying “she’ll see” and “she wasn't aware of how long she was going to be here” when it came to meeting up and she implied she didn’t feel safe being here alone to meet up even tho her friends were going to be with her. Told her I would take care of all the small stuff and now no response. Should I follow up and let go of the idea of meeting up and try to restart after she goes back home? Should I say sorry for being pushy? Should I move on? Seems obvious what I need to do but our texting was just fine. Just need to hear it from others. I’d really like to “double text” and just say hey I’m sorry for coming off pushy and let’s restart.
