I really don't understand why someone would look down on another person for getting a nose job or filler or something along those lines. Logically, you are valued more in society when you're beautiful. Beauty will always be appreciated, and will always give you an upper hand or be advantageous in most situations over someone who's ugly. So logically, if you have some unfortunate features that you feel are holding back from what you want in life, then why not invest in yourself? Like anything, it can be overdone.

I personally think that a lot of plastic surgery looks really good. I also think that most people have the ability to be attractive with some effort. Having said that, there are unfortunate looking individuals out there that can put in as much effort as they want, and still won't look too great. I personally have never gotten work done, because I feel as if I'm already attractive and my looks aren't holding me back from anything I want in life.

The closest thing I could relate it to, would be when I was bodybuilding and taking steroids. I might have reached my level of body fat and muscle mass with the support of artificial exogenous hormones, but I looked fucking good. This isn't me encouraging steroid use either. I'm just pointing out the principle. At the end of the day, I personally don't care what's natural and what isn't. If it looks good, then it looks good.

1. Would you rather be born beautiful, but experiencing a bad accident (acid/gun shot/car accident) ruining your face so you may need face transplant or be disfigured, or be born ugly (below average) and have cosmetic surgery to make you appear beautiful? Your true genetics would still play a role in how your children would look like. The ugly person would risk getting ugly children.

A = Born beautiful, but face ruined in an accident
B = Born ugly, but appear beautiful because of cosmetic surgery.

2. Would you rather date a beautiful person experiencing an accident ruining their face or an ugly person with successful cosmetic surgeries making them look beautiful?

A = Date beautiful person who got the face ruined in accident
B = Date ugly person who appear beautiful after surgeries

My Opinion:
I don't want children and biological kids aren't important to me, so I would rather date or be a fake "beauty" than be a disfigured or date a disfigured person. With no children in the picture I wouldn't get bad conscience for them inherit my bad traits. True and natural beauty is overrated when you're not into procreation. I'm a visual person and enjoys beauties. If I can enjoy artificial art (paintings, sculptures etc.), then I can enjoy artificial beauty in humans too. My pick is 1B 2B.

The definition on beauty in this if-scenario is something the majority finds beautiful etc. Same applies to ugliness.
