Regardless of your political opinions, imagine that a candidate that you support is in Trump's position right now. All the evidence and charges existed years ago and yet, the DOJ leaders who openly protest and are in opposition to the candidate decide to wait until 6 months before an election, place a gag order on them, place the candidate in a courtroom district where only 6% of people support him and forbid the candidate from leaving the state, which will impede their ability to campaign freely. Would you consider this to be election interference?

Will the far right or the far left ever admit that they are wrong or change their mind on issues such as climate change, free trade, taxes, immigration policy, military policy even if they are shown facts that counter their beliefs?

Here's a typical argument with a political extremist:

• He makes a point.
• I make a counterpoint.
• He says I'm wrong.
• I present research or facts to back up counterpoint.
• He says I'm listening to lamestream lying media/Faux News and my facts are wrong.
• I ask him to prove they're wrong.
• Instead of trying to prove me wrong with facts and research, he insults me and/or says he won't waste his time on me.

The only people who have ever blocked me on GAG did so over political diagreements where they could not refute my points

Question is... do you agree, that your beliefs influence how you interpret and react? It's one of the key learnings I had from believing in Christ for salvation. It's instramental in all solutions to problems asked on GAG... your pre-existing beliefs, influence the outcome.

This is fundamental to how I see things working and I find it to be true. I wonder if everyone thinks that.
