My upstairs neighbor has been noisy since she moved in and to retaliate I bought a ceiling thumper. I bought the thumper last fall and she didn’t start blasting her tv on purpose until a few weeks ago. I’m not sure if the thumper caused her to go this route but I’m not using the thumper until after the HOA meets with her to potentially fine her landlord for previous disturbances she’s caused. She got the notice in March & I plan to not use the thumper until after the hearing. If I use the thumper too soon before hearing I worry she will use it against me assuming she recorded it. Since March this yr after the hearing notice was sent to her, I have three reports where the police and security reported her blasting her tv and police even knocked on door. Security was here last Saturday and Police came the Sunday. From my knowledge, the police and security have not recorded my thumper I’m guessing she would have a recording. She has not complained about me to the office or police, while I have all this documentation to use against her. I’m hoping documentation proves to be more substantial if she has any recordings. I even have video footage of her leaving the tv on when she’s not home & my camera shows the time stamp of when she leaves and comes back home. The office didn’t seem as hopeful at first warning me that the hearing doesn’t guarantee she’ll be fined but as soon as I gave a recent police report, his tone changed. I believed God exists because without him I wouldn’t regret what I had done wrong. He showed me the right path and is very forgiving of me. I sometimes hate myself for hurting others because it’s against God’s will. I realised that I shouldn’t follow societal expectations of women, like how I should look to please lots of men. I don’t follow trends and I don’t follow celebs and beauty trends, I didn’t buy luxury goods too. I realised if I were to follow them till I die, I will have to face God myself and I might end up in hell. I’m someone who would rather listen to God than random people telling me what I should do when I’m not like them. I’m not against people who don’t believe in God. The reason why I came back to God is because of how messed up the world is and God made me see the positive side of things.

I prayed to God every single day thanking him for keeping me alive and safe whenever I go out. I may not be rich but I’m perfectly happy with what I have rather than worry about what I didn’t have that most rich people can afford. God gave me a choice whether to follow him or go against him which is what I loved about him. I do faced judgements from random strangers because I’m not following trends but I just ignore them and live my life because what matters me the most is I follow God’s ways. God only sees how good a person’s heart is while many people tend to see how a person looks physically which is sadly true, if not why would the handsome men and beautiful women get so many people trying to make a move on them? I’m a low maintenance girl living a minimalist lifestyle.

I feel my relationship/communication is not going well with my boyfriend. Like it’s not evolving as I hoped it would be. It feels like he is becoming more and more distant and I’m just the back burner in his life.

I have confronted with my mom looking for relationship advice. That she told me: “Honey, all men are like this. He is out there living his life and you need to give him his space. Men say they want ‘love and attention’. But once a girl gives it to him. He doesn’t want it anymore. You need to focus on you and glow and don’t worry about him. He’ll come around whenever he feels like it, and I know it hurts. Believe me, I know.”
