This may be the most consequential loss for the Democrats -- the party that was founded by slave owners to protect their right to own slaves (1) -- in their 196 year history.

The Democrats have done everything in their power to eliminate the right of the American electorate to elect the candidate of their choice to be president using despicable, illegal and immoral Stalinist tactics against President Trump to politically persecute him AND HIS SUPPORTERS AND ASSOCIATES for TEN YEARS. They did everything in their power to take away the peoples' choice so they would not even have a chance to vote for him. They committed DESPICABLE acts of treason to attempt to overthrow THE WILL OF THE American PEOPLE. And now they demand civility? WHERE IS THEIR CIVILITY? WHERE IS THEIR APOLOGY? WHERE IS THEIR ADMISSION OF WRONGDOING?

But this is STILL America. And the American people have TAKEN OUR COUNTRY BACK at the voting booth. And we are never going back to the tyranny of the Democrat far left. They were outsmarted, outmaneuvered, outdone and OUTVOTED OUT BY THE PEOPLE! Tyranny will NEVER conquer America.

(1) Why ANYONE would EVER want to even associate themselves with ANY organization that was FOUNDED for the purpose of protecting slave owners is beyond my comprehension. It tells you something important about Democrats, either they are ignorant or immoral. The party should have been abolished when the Republicans founded their party with the purpose of ABOLISHING slavery.

When I was younger, eating sausages was a regular thing. Sausages were sausages. Back then i liked their taste.

Fast forward to around 2014 i first started to pick up on a distasteful experience eating sausages. It made me go "ew, yuck, that's not sausage. In fact it's not even food. That's garbage". Did I make an unfortunate pick picking sausages?

No, it happened elsewhere. I cycled through a few sausages and they all made me go ew, yuck, i wasted my money, got a horrible taste in my mouth and i wrap my day up in some hunger.

Sometime later I stopped putting any sausages in my shopping card and opted for meat products, that actually look like meat: Chicken, filets & meat cuts.

Sometime later I discovered a humble sausage butcher chain, that claims "we don't play by the rules of others, we produce our own line of sausages". And truly, the sausages they sold are unlike what the grocery stores were selling. I gave it a try and truly, after what I've tasted from them opened my body up to a new perception. These were authentic or artisan-like sausages. From time to time i bought from them.

Then in the year 2022 I have escaped from that region. I tried multiple times the sausages local to me and they too made me go "ew, yuck, that's garbage i'll never buy again!". Have the sausage producers changed their sausage formula globally to edible garbage or what? I can taste the chemicals and the garbage i can't name and my body responding with "spit that shit out, now!". Only sujuk was good but sujuk is too salty for me.

Today in the first time of my life (29 years old) i cooked Steak. It was yummy and tasted just like real and roasted meat. I made up my mind from now on: Sausages won't enter my shopping card. Meat cuts, filets and Steak will. For breakfast or meals i'll have not any f-cking sausages but a big good steak. Surprisingly steak isn't much more expensive than sausages where I am!

Full disclosure: I am an alien and I DO NOT UNDERSTAND MANY FUNERARY RITES OF HUMANS.

In the NYC tri-state area, (maybe the Northeast USA in general - I don't know) they take the dead body & (whole train of cars) procession for a ride past their old house and in the case of cops/fireman, usually past their firehouse or precinct. ITS FUCKING BIZZARO WORLD!!

Usually after the burial a lot of the entourage goes to the diner for brunch/lunch which is the one thing I support that both Christians & Jews here do. Then maybe the closest friends and family back to decedents house to (for Christians) get drunk and tell stories about the poor sap.

Like I said, I don't get you humans a lot of the time but I think the Jews are closest to the best way to mourn (with a BIG exception to the Vikings send off to Valhalla - THOSE GUYS KNOW HOW TO PARTY!)

The Jews "sitting shiva" makes sense to me. Simple pine box. Buried as soon as practical. No rabbi needed - head of family does "service". Set mourning period. Go to decedants house instead of sanitary clinical depressing funeral home where some preacher who never met the guy does a eulogy. EVERY visitor brings / orders food so you don't cook for days or weeks. Sit on uncomfortable box to remind yourself your not supposed to be comfy & cover mirrors so you're not concerned with vanity - all so you can truly focus on the decedant. All old photo albums throughout the home broken out for guests to look at. Everybody kvells, noshes & yentas in their shmatas.

So? What's it like by you? Does any other faiths funerary rites appeal to you? If It were up to me every cemetery would be turned into a park, preserve, trail, ball field or playground.

I've given some thought to Parsi (Zoroastrian) rites (another faith I admire very much) & the Tower of Silence for myself but will likely be made into a tree, plant or a diamond.

Is the Northeast just fucking insane with the drive by corpse?
