Despite what new sources and "data" claim, this is the economy where I have applied for hundreds of jobs and get nowhere. This is the economy where layoffs are everywhere, and white-collar jobs are on the chopping block. This is the economy with hiring freezes and ghost job postings. This is the economy where a can of chunk chicken costs $5 and a store-brand bottle of water costs over $3!!! This is the economy where I have ran through all my savings since my termination in mid-July. This is the economy where I cannot even afford to buy family gifts for Christmas.

I found these images in my downloads folder, dated early December. I can't remember what they are. There was no file name. But, I do know that in December I was recuperating from a trip to Eastern Europe, decorating for Christmas, fixing an issue with my muffler, remodeling the laundry room, and having my Internet line checked for issues.
