I know some people have the end goal of marriage when it comes to dating. Me personally, I date because I want to build a closer more intimate and romantic relationship with the person I’m interested in. I don’t really care if we get married or not, I’m just going with the flow, if he ends up being “the one” then I’d consider marriage but other than that I usually just want to be with them for the sake of being with them. I don’t feel like I’m wasting my time either bcs the time was well spent getting to know that person, whether it ends in marriage or not. What about you? Do you date to marry or do you date just to date them?

Me and my ex boyfriend broke up about a month ago because he felt I wasn’t emotionally there for him anymore but I had no idea he felt this way I have this problem where when I finally get comfortable with someone I over share and tell them the most random stuff that has nothing to do with either of us and so the last couple days of our relationship I had been having hard days and so I went to him just to vent to him and I got so caught in my mental stuff that I forgot to ask him how he was doing and about two weeks prior to this I told him that I didn’t want to see him for a while because I wanted to finish the school year with minimal distractions spend some time with some of my friends that I don’t see very often and spend time with my family and he took this personally because he is over thinker and so it made him feel like I didn’t love him anymore but I totally did and do but my mom was also mad because he never really talked to my parents we would always just go into my basement and watch tv because he has social anxiety and our relationship with my parents was kind of lie because I met him on snap and I’m not supposed to have snap so I didn’t want to get in trouble so we made up a story on how we met and so that made it harder for us to talk with them and especially with his social anxiety and the lies it was just lie after lie and it was hard to keep track of what we said so I never forced him to talk to my parents but my mother was not fond of that so anyways things weren’t really the same after I said that and so he said he wanted to break up because it was kind of turning into a one sided relationship and so I feel like it’s all my fault is it? Sorry for not using proper English I don't know how to do that

I'm 45. I go bars and clubs by myself because there are not any women my age that want to. They prefer afternoon coffee shop or mediation class 😒

I spent my 20's in a relationship with an older man with drinking problems so we travelled the world but didn't go bars/clubs.

I had some time after thar relationship in my early 30's going out but had younger mates in their mid-20's to go with.

Then I was single mum raising my kids. So didn't go out at all for like 10 years.

Now I love it. And I'm way more confident at my age.
