How should I respond to my boyfriend using pics of stuff I made and saying it’s his?

I’m not sure if I’m overreacting but I’ve been quite upset with my boyfriend because he posted pictures of food I made and said he made it on social media. There’s so many comments praising the food and he said he posted it because he wanted the praise. I feel kinda mad and kinda sad but is this normal? It happened before and I ignored it but this time I said something and he said I’m ”taking it too far” by being upset about this. A part of me feels like I’m always being pushed into the shadows and I get no recognition for the things I do (sometimes I want a little praise too y’know? Especially when I spend hours on these things) It also doesn’t help that I’m an artist and stealing something someone else made is a big no-no in the art community. Just wanted input on how to approach this in a sensible way.

Just make more pictures of showing the complete cooking process and post them. People will understand what’s what! 😉

Folks in your age bracket lend too much importance to social media… stop giving him pics if it losses you off.

I dunno, that seems weird. He should just be glad he has a girl that can cook. Next time heat up a cup of noodles and tell him to post that!
