I'm (a girl)18 he is 19 weve known eachother for three years been friends solidly for half of them, the other half was just someone in passing.

I just admited for the first time to someone i like them. Anyways he said "I have no idea how/what/why I am emotionally attached to trees.(side note no worries he's an arborist its normal for him to be all treeish) With that in mind, I have no idea how to respond. Its not from any fault of your own, far from it. Its just ntil i figure out my own mind, I will have no frame of reference and no idea how to respond.

If in the future you decide that you actively want to try and activly change things between us,(if he figures out his emotions and partial tree rant later) but thats the point. its the future. stop worrying. cause now is quite nice too.

Oh and please no lectures about how tattoos ruin your body lol. Also how could I Integrate color into this design? I mostly like black/grey tattoos but I want to add just a touch of color (which would be red & blue). By a "touch" I mean something like this

The tattoo would be on the inside of my forearm most likely so it won't be huge.
