So I have this guy friend and he has a girlfriend and always talks about her, or his exes, or even random girls he thinks are hot, I don't really care and usually give him some sort of feedback about the girls.

We're relatively new friends, I've known him for about a year through mutual friends, but we recently started talking more and he reaches out to me almost everyday to talk otp, we usually talk late night. I noticed he only calls me when his girlfriend isn't around and I've also never met her. He got me a necklace from a popular tv show I like for my bday too. Worth mentioning that this guy is close friends with my ex boyfriend.

So I never really talked about guys I like or my exes. So I decided to try. Anytime I do he just gets quiet or says "mhm" but doesn't engage at all. I told him about one ex and how we had this romantic night and my friend just changed the topic. Even told him about a IG influencer I think is hot and he just ignored me. I also told him about a guy I wanted to hookup with but I was unsure, he basically said "why would u do that if ur not sure?" And when he called me the next day he asked if I went through with it (I didn't) and he said "wow I thought for sure you'd do it". Last thing, I was telling him about how my other guy friend said dating apps suck for guys, his immediate response was "who?", I was like "what do u mean who?", He goes "who said that?". So I told him my other friends name. After he got the name he then engaged in the convo about dating apps

I thought maybe he's uncomfortable talking about other men that way but he disclosed to me about another female friend who told him some guy played her. so he's not uncomfortable with it, he just ignores me I guess.

Am I overthinking this?

We both share a playful kinda friendship.. keep on annoying the shit out of each other. We spend the whole day together because we dont vibe much with other people. (We have similar personalities)

Sometimes he would hold my hand during the whole lecture.

I just take him as a super good friend, and I'm already with someone else. My friend knows that and kinda adores my relationship as well.

Hey, so I met a guy around 7 yr ago while I was working in a restaurant, he asked for my number &then a few weeks later I got a train to see him for the weekend. We got on really really well but I didn’t sleep with him as wernt officially dating, we spoke for months after but I ended up going travelling& when I got back he had a girlfriend, I ended up in a 3 year relationship but then we both somehow ended up single at the same time, he contacted me (as must have seen I deleted all photos of ex) we went on a date and the date was just amazing I can’t explain the butterfly feeling he gives me. Still didn’t sleep with him as I’m old fashioned and we weren’t exclusive.. anyways after the date I got back with my ex and we didn’t speak. A year later I’m single & he gets in touch asking if I’m okay and randomly turned up at my house with flowers to cheer me up. we end up talking for a few weeks and he’s asking me why I never make effort to talk to him and why he’s always chasing me (he’s a basketball player so I’m kind of wary that he’s talking to loads of other girls & I’m a bit shy I’m nowhere near as hot) by the way we still haven’t had sex but just having a really nice connection. Again he goes radio Silent on me.. so fast forward a few months and he rings me drunk saying I’m the only person he’s ever loved and he’s so nervous around me etc.. I thought I would make more effort with him so I start finally messaging first and stuff and we plan to have a night away and we talk about having sex & it gets quiet passionate. then again he goes radio silent. so a month goes by & after hearing nothing from him he pops up merry Christmas I love you & one day your going to be my wife which is random as hell since he practically ghosted me twice this year? Then after talking every night on the phone he’s gone silent again? am I reading this all wrong does he even like me or what? or am I just not making enough effort? & no he doesn’t have a wife or a girlfriend I know his family

English is not my first language so my grammar and such might be off.

So I'm the youngest of my siblings and have a niece 21 and nephew 16 from my sister and brother. And I am 22. So one day the three of us went shopping and the store owner is very familiar to my family but first time meeting me. So on that day I kept looking in his direction without letting him notice cause damn he is so handsome. But I was super quiet other than shaking his hand and saying hi and goodbye.

He was helping us out but I kept every now and then turning to his direction and would catch him staring with a slight smile but quickly looking away when he sees me looking.

The second time we went he didn't look as much but was friendly then he asked my niece not me directly just her if I'm her sister she said not I'm actually her aunt and he looked so shocked and confused we laughed and he again said to her im very quiet and on silent mode we laughed and I just said yeah and he looked quickly at me.

Third time walking up to the store his outside helping one of his workers but when he sees us he quickly stops and walks in to wait for us to greet and help us out but little distracted and later on I went with my other niece who was younger into the store he was busy but when walking away he smiles.
Later on when walking past the store I can see him coming to stand in the doorway just staring at us but with such serious but curious eyes.
I'm really attracted to him and don't see him often but when I do I keep looking for signs do these mean anything please don't think I'm a shallow or selfish or self praises myself trying to trick myself thinking he is giving signs. People asking me about our cultures, His Muslim and im Caucasian.
