I know this one girl because of us being in the same scholarship cohort. Before I used to always notice her staring at me and even when I was stare at her back she continued staring until I looked away. With that I was 80% sure she was interested. I didn’t bother talking to her because I was interested in someone else at the time (well for a long time). Recently I thought about trying to talk to her or at least to get to know her more. I have her phone number but that’s only from the group chat for the cohort. I personally thought it’d be better to add her on Snapchat since it’d be more casual but I also feel weird that I would be adding her through search. I’m not really sure how to go about this since I don’t want to come off too strong since I’d love to be friends with her too. Also since I’ve know her I never really talked to her either. We have the same interests and all. I also could very much so be overthinking this too. What are your opinions on this? Never used this site but I would assume I can reply to people so if you have any questions just ask.

Felt like we were building a genuine connection, I like to take things slow but never made it clear. I usually lead with friendship because thats important to me.

Her: Yes I'm opened to it, I just wouldn't be able to hangout til the new year

I have decided I plan to read every Adult/YA novel of the Star Wars franchise.

However, there are 2 ways to do this.

1. I start Chronologically (in universe timeline) and read that way. This would be interesting, but would be stuck in certain eras for a very long time, and it might really start to get on my nerves. Also, some books might not work well with others because they were published in completely different decades.

2. I can start with Publishing Order (release timeline). This will be interesting to see how the stories develop over the years, but I won't be getting to anything new for quite some time. So, it might be cool to see natural progression (of someone who followed it from the beginning), but it will take a while before I get to anything relatively "modern"

Which do you suggest?

Lost hair to a telogen alopecia at 18. Shave what’s left. Still have eyebrows and most body hair. I’m a decent looking guy, even told I’m handsome by many. But I’m 28 now and I’ve just had no luck dating. Never even been kissed or on a date. I’m very social, involved in many groups and activities, went through 4 years of college and always had big social circles. So so many times women have shared how they can’t believe I’m single etc but yet, sometimes even those same women, turn me down. There’s been a small few who were into me but honestly I just wasn’t attracted to them. That physical attraction has to be there as well as the emotional one. I got one life and I am not settling on what I want just due to a genetic condition. But I don’t blame the women who aren’t interested either, looks do matter, just sad to think hair really is such a big determining factor for men’s looks and there’s nothing I can do but wear a wig (which I actually started doing-a full custom one, it’s 2024 and makes me happy).

But yeah, I’ve probably asked out 40 odd women in the decade I’ve shaved my head, all no’s. About 12 made it clear it was the baldness. (I always journal so I have reread this many times and remember the numbers, probably not healthy) and I’m sure others were the same. Just sad, really wanted to be married to a young woman I found beautiful and who I loved dearly. Didn’t care about much else. Not interested in waiting until I’m older, nor in dating women older than me. I’m 27.

Honestly friends I think I may clock out here soon. Love each other out there and please be kind. We all need to learn to take rejection yes but please be kind giving it. This world is mean enough.
